Welcome to The Razor Clam!

This is the place where chefs are putting 100% into creating a unique experience using the freshest ingredients and local suppliers. At The Razor Clam you will be able to find fresh focaccia made by our chefs, ravioli with hand picked crab meat and salmon, a variety of mouth watering pasta dishes and homemade burgers, steaks, risotto and great side dishes. Give us a try and you won't be disappointed.

    What a wonderful evening, We’re local (Hayle) and often pop over for food but got into the habit of going to one particular Thai restaurant but decided to try somewhere different today and we were not dissapointed! Fantastic service, fantastic food (seafood misto and seafood sharing platter) and the pinot blush wine was delightful. And thank you to the host for a great evening. Will be returning!

    The standard of the fish dishes we ate here was very high. The scallops were the best I have ever enjoyed.

    It was our 2nd visit to The Razor Clam in a couple of days. Our 1st visit we tried the monkfish curry based on reviews posted by other diners & we were not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful flavour & quality of ingredients. Would definitely order again but decided on our 2nd visit last night to try salmon fillet with blue cheese bechamel sauce & my husband tried cornish fish pie. Another beautiful meal. This restaurant is definitely worth a try. Price & portion size amazing. Staff so friendly & helpful.

    Superb food and nice friendly service. The quality of the various dishes, flavours, presentation, etc were all excellent. In a first for the restaurant there was live music which we weren’t sure of at first but actually it was really good. The two performers were very talented and it added a very enjoyable atmosphere to the whole evening.

    A decent restaurant with good menu options. Vibe is good and quiet, seatings are well spaced. Food quality is acceptable but not as expected. The oysters do not taste super fresh, scallops are quite small. The best thing is the crab salad and chowder, they are really nice. Risotto and linguine are fair, just don't expect it to be delicately flavored.
