We went for lunch yesterday, 2/2/24. Everything went perfectly well: drinks, food, coffee. Waiter was great. Our reservation was for 12:00 PM. We left at 4 PM…..must have been a superb experience, right? Thank you.

I really liked it here!! The wings were really good and so was the salad we ordered!! The sandwiches my friends got (burger and grilled cheese) looked really good. My grilled chicken sandwich was okay. I just wish the menu were a little bigger. Otherwise, it was great!

Went on a Sunday evening. Place is really cool, can imagine the vibe when there are more people there. Staff was outstanding, friendly and engaging. Although the menu is limited, don't let that fool you. The quality is great.

Great place for a great dinner experience, or if you want to drink some cocktails. Tasty food and good beer options. Incredible vibe and it is next to the an Ax-throwing place.

Food was delicious. Will definitely return. Wait staff was friendly and courteous, but suggest slightly more attention to customers, like checking on the need to refill drinks/water.

Enjoyed the tomato bisque and grilled cheese and greens. Also enjoyed seeing local young people working in the restaurant. Love the newspapers on the walls and the exposed brick walls.

the RECORD is a gorgeous spot with their exposed brick wall and modern seating. the food was good, i wouldn't say great but definitely worth another visit. no GF options was disappointing to one of our party. we had some concerns with the service. we were sat by the host and he took our drink and food order but another person brought out our food and addressed our concerns. 2 chopped salads arrived pretty quickly but our pizza was nowhere to be seen for at least another 15 minutes and only after we inquired about it. the salads arrived with some type of 'breading/bread crumbs' on top which were not listed on the menu and that was a problem for our GF party member. the 2nd salad was missing the extra chicken that was ordered, both had to be returned to be fixed. one of our party ordered the only soup on the menu-stuffed baked potato only to find out that they had run out. when she asked about substituting it for the tomato bisque soup that is included with the grilled cheese sandwich she was told by the host that they 'couldn't do that' so she went soup-less. there were some other mis-communications (i.e. salad dressing for the salads kind of stuff). the oddest thing was the bill. when you receive it, it does not match the menu. we hadn't noticed the 'cash pricing' declaration in fine print on the menu so it took some explaining. haven't ever run across that before. it was a pleasant time and we'd definitely give the RECORD another chance. it just seems like they have a few things that need buttoning up a little, would hate to see them fail for service issues because it's a great boon to up and coming Coatesville.

While the location and ambiance are good, the service was abysmal. We were a party of 3 and ordered 3 different entrees; flat iron steak( not available so spicy chicken parm), margarita pizza, and salad with a burger. The chicken came first, short time later, pizza. Then no burger nor salad with server saying soon, soon. We finished the 2 entrees, got the bill and left. They even had the audacity to charge for the diet coke that the unserved guest had. No apologies. Definitely, would not recommend; restaurant not even crowded so certainly no excuse!
