Add to that a simply superb restaurant and you’ve got one of the finest venues in the area. Not only popular with the tourists and business visitors who love Craighaar but with locals too, The Restaurant is one of the area’s most popular dining spots. With a real old school country house charm The Restaurant gives an air of sophistication and formality whilst remaining welcoming and relaxed. Using much local produce, The Restaurant’s menu is celebrated region-wide for its inventiveness which also stays true to its Scottish roots.

    Normally I don't get time to leave reviews online but The Craighaar Hotel Restaurant deserves it. Just the right level of attentiveness from the friendly and helpful staff. The food portions were very generous and there was a wide enough selection on the menu for both of our dietary requirements. Very tasty the meals were too when they came! Looks lovely on the inside, so don't be put off by some of the older parts of the hotel. Afterwards we went off to the cosy lounge bar to let dinner settle with a quiet wee drink. We'll be back!

    The fish and chops are always excellent. Quite quiet which is nice and no horrible background music. Good for business lunch. We were comfortably done in an hour.

    The Craighaar restaurant never fails to impress. Lovely place, extensive menu, keenly priced and beautifully presented food. Staff all very friendly yet professional. A most enjoyable eating experience. Thoroughly recommend you give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
