Welcome to The Rex Seaside Steakhouse.

A neighborhood steakhouse using seasonal and quality ingredients to bring flavor and hospitality to Redondo Beach. Join us in our dining room every night or our Drift Cocktail Lounge on Friday and Saturdays for a night to remember.

Intentionally sourced with an eye for quality, we offer USDA Prime, Miyazaki A5 Japanese Wagyu, and American Wagyu. All are steaks are cooked to perfection over our white oak fire.

Family-owned and operated, we strive to off a one-of-a-kind luxury experience with all the charm of a neighborhood restaurant.

Kyle was our server and was so attentive to our special request meals. Perfect place to enjoy a dinner with friends. We sat in the upstairs dining room which we loved as it felt as if we were dining privately!

The staff is friendly and well trained. The food was delivered in a relaxed yet timely way. The noise level is a bit loud but all in all it was a wonderful dining experience.

Great night at Rex Steakhouse. We were celebrating our son’s 18th Birthday and had travelled all the way from Vancouver. There was a personalize birthday card from staff, great food and service, and a nice birthday dessert. Thanks to all/Merci! Andrew

Went for our wedding anniversary. Was given free glasses of champagne and a signed card upon arrival. Enjoyed a delicious dinner with great service and then was given a free amazing dessert at the end of the night to end our anniversary celebration. Pricey but worth it for special occasions

ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCE OVERPOWERS THE STEAKHOUSE EXPERIENCE We dined last night for my husband’s birthday, looking forward to this special occasion with wood-cooked steaks. Unfortunately, the experience was spoiled by an overwhelming artificial fragrance pumped in through the air vents, throughout the dining area. When I inquired with the server and manager, I was told this was an “aromatherapy” feature on a timer. FOR THOSE SENSITIVE TO FRAGRANCES, BE WARNED: this scent is strong and ever-present. It is still in my clothes this morning. I was disappointing that a restaurant built around wood-fired cooking would cover up that natural, mouthwatering aroma with something artificial. While the manager offered to seat us outside, we had already been served. This fragrance choice seems unnecessary and inconsiderate, especially in a setting known for its natural, savory cooking. I urge management to reconsider this practice for the comfort of all patrons.

Rex continues to never disappoint. It is one of our favs. Michaela was our server and she was perfect. Thank you for making our anniversary a grand experience.
