Welcome to The Rex Seaside Steakhouse.

A neighborhood steakhouse using seasonal and quality ingredients to bring flavor and hospitality to Redondo Beach. Join us in our dining room every night or our Drift Cocktail Lounge on Friday and Saturdays for a night to remember.

Intentionally sourced with an eye for quality, we offer USDA Prime, Miyazaki A5 Japanese Wagyu, and American Wagyu. All are steaks are cooked to perfection over our white oak fire.

Family-owned and operated, we strive to off a one-of-a-kind luxury experience with all the charm of a neighborhood restaurant.

Food was very amazing! Inside was beautiful drinks were great! but honestly our server was pretty rude and didn’t get acknowledged had to call him to take our order and had a bit of attitude but would come back for the food again

Best steak I’ve had in a long while. Amazing desserts. Super friendly service for our anniversary! Complementary bubbly and some delicious seasonal rum shots to finish. Definitely want to come back for birthdays and whenever our parents come to visit. Thanks so much!!

Julio was our server for the evening and he was beyond outstanding. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and they seated us at a comfortable booth with ample room for the two of us. The food was outstanding and spoke for itself, but what really made all the difference was the service. There was a manager (did not catch his name unfortunately!) who came by the table to decant our wine for us and share some great stories about the history of the restaurant and its staff. 10/10 experience and will be back for any special occasion celebration. What's even better is how local it is to where we live.

I would highly recommend The Rex to anyone who is looking for fine dining in the South Bay. The food and service was excellent.

Waiters and staff were super friendly. The Service was great. I'd definitely recommend people going. All around, phenomenal experience.

Great atmosphere! Everything here is absoltely delicious. This was my fourth time here and brought new friends. The Rex is purely quality dood from the bread, to the Captain's shrimp and my favorite is the chicken. While this is a steakhouse, all I have brought here love the meat and say it is just perfect. This was my fourth visit and those I have brought also returned without me! Our waitress Angela was fabolous!

1st time excited to try and Meh! Met by overpowering hard to breath air freshener, service average at first and then delayed forgotten for a non busy 530 service, steaks were burnt/blackened on the outside and undercooked inside, unimpressed with sides and expected but overpriced overall.
