Food is always exceptional, however, service is getting worse. Staff are not very attentive although do not want them hovering over you when you are eating, drink never arrived had to ask again, was waiting for around 20 minutes before getting anyone's attention for a desert menu, no-one then actually followed it up if we did want deserts or coffee so we ended up just asking for the bill. Shame really, we've been going there since it first opened but the service definitely lets it down and without realising, you are having to pay a service charge for a shoddy service. Will look to go elsewhere in future and would be reluctant to recommend on to family and friends.

I had been here around 12 months ago and the food was really good but this visit all our party were disappointed with the meals chosen. Food was not warm and the food v Was not up to restaurant standard.

I had fish and chips and my friends had the chicken and leek pie. Both were delicious. Good size portions as well. Love the atmosphere in there too.

The Rolling Mill never disappoints! The food was amazing as always—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was on point, attentive, and friendly. No complaints, just a fantastic dining experience!

I had an amazing meal out with friends and family at The Rolling Mill. For starters, I enjoyed the pork belly with pineapple and the bratwurst sausage salad—both delicious and unique. My main course, shin of beef in bourguignon sauce, was perfectly tender and full of flavour. To finish, I had the croissant bread and butter pudding with custard, which was the perfect sweet ending. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless. The Christmas decorations added a lovely festive touch, creating a warm and beautiful atmosphere. Always highly recommend!

We came here for my partners birthday. Staff were great, quick to serve and there wasn’t a long wait for food and drink. Abigail was amazing, professional and very helpful. We even got ice cream with a candle for my partner and the staff sang happy birthday to him.

Food is excellent- we had the roast, only let down was we were asked how we would like our beef/lamb cooked yet all of it came out well done, despite asking for pink for all. Our server was lovely however we had to ask for table water repeatedly and they were very blunt- no apologies when things were wrong, so this was disappointing in terms of service.
