Went in for our Christmas works lunch. Absolutely superb. Food was amazing. This is the third time I’ve been in just over a week. Well worth it.

The food & service never disappoints. Being able to request a certain table is much appreciated. I would highly recommend the Royal whether for a couple or group.

I had gluten free fish and chips !! The best ever !! As of the others (10 in total) really enjoyed there meals ,10 out of 10 !! The service was amazing, thank you .

Food was lovely and table service was good until after the desserts were served. Asked to order more drinks and waitress abruptly informed us we needed to order from the bar. Didn’t even look at us when she was talking. We hadn’t even paid for the meal yet! Disappointing end to what was a lovely evening….

A lovely meal in great surroundings with brilliant friendly and efficient staff. The only drawback was the noise levels - made worse by two women at an adjoining table whose frequent drunken laughter was exceedingly loud but the establishment cannot be blamed for the behaviour of its more irresponsible clients.
