    From the welcome bread, the appetizers, main course & desserts, everything was really good! Highly recommended! One of the best restaurant in Palo Alto for sure!

    Service was outstanding not overbearing. Food was excellent with layers of flavor in every dish. The hamachi shots were the best and everything thing else from the bread to the dessert was better than anything else I’ve had in the last year.

    Server tricked us into ordering more food by not letting us know that the protein was already coming with more. My fish was in two pieces and totally different tasting. One was like dry hard chicken and the other piece was like flaky soft fish.

    Service was outstanding, the cotton candy and amuse bouche was a delightful and delicious surprise. The dining experience was delightful and we hope to be back soon.

    The ambiance at The Sea by Alexander’s is chic, elegant, and comfortable, setting the stage for what we hoped would be a great dining experience. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. For appetizers, we tried the Popcorn Crab and Japanese Sword Squid Calamari. The Popcorn Crab was the highlight of the night—crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and perfectly complemented by the sauce. In contrast, the calamari was a disappointment. It was dry and seemed overly deep-fried, though the green chili aioli paired better with it than the sweet chili sauce. For entrées, I had the John Dory, which was simply underwhelming. My wife ordered the CAB Filet Mignon (medium rare), but she found it dry and nothing special. We also shared the Lobster Fried Rice, which was another letdown—the only saving grace was the crispy Brussels sprouts garnish. For dessert, we tried the Burnt Almond Bomb, which was just okay. However, we did enjoy the Valentine’s cocktail special, which came with a nice touch—a Polaroid photo of us and a rose for my wife at the end of the dinner. Overall, while the ambiance and service were excellent, the food didn’t live up to our expectations. My wife and I had a great time together, but we likely wouldn’t return. ⭐ Rating: 3/5

    We always have the best meal when we come here. Which isn’t that often only because we live far away. But highly recommended to anyone looking for a great meal and an even better experience
