With a surname that means “fisherman’, Fons de Visscher opened his first fish shop in Helmond in 1984, beloved by locals from afar. The first Seafood Bar he opened in 2012 on the Van Baerlestraat, Amsterdam, which along with his son and daughter grew into an iconic fish restaurant known for its long lines.

Our fish restaurant is renowned for its outstanding quality and service. Whether you’re in the mood for a light lunch or a full meal, The Seafood Bar is the place to be. Offering a wide variety of seafood dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients, we strive to provide the best culinary experience in a cozy ambiance.

    Lovely staff and the food was amazing. It was so fresh and the flavours matched perfectly. Would definitely recommend it! If you love seafood this is the place to go.

    Just one word: Amazing! The staff is super friendly and gave good recommendations. The food was so fresh and had a lot of flavor. Together with the wine it was a perfect meal. Will definitely come back!
