We are a 21+ restaurant and bar. Founded in 2018 by Joel and Matthew and purchased in late 2022 by Becky and Jon, the vision remains the same: Old English pub vibes, high quality food.

We loved The Shambles from the minute we walked in and now we continue the heritage of what was created before us. On the food side: high quality steaks, cut in house. Cooks who have the freedom to create seasonal dishes ranging from foraged mushrooms to house made sausages. To go with your meal, we offer skillfully made, non-fussy cocktails, carefully selected wines, a plethora of beers, sours, and ciders on tap and a a robust non alcoholic selection. We top it all off with warm and knowledgeable service. At the Shambles, you can join us for a lovely date night, get together with friends OR choose to sit at the bar and get an ear full of cheesy jokes and unfiltered chatter We are serious about our service from top to bottom and we can’t wait to serve you!

Great spot for a great cut of steak – the folks working there made it fairly easy to pick between all the excellent choices on the board. Cocktails and ambiance were great too. Nice space but still casual and easy going. On their website they say they are "notably unpretentious and notoriously delicious" and I would heartily agree.

I took my boyfriend to The Shambles for his birthday dinner. We loved that it's kind of an upscale restaurant with a cozy feeling. The ambiance is great. Our server helped us with our steak selection and both of our cuts were delicious. We ordered the bread and pickle plates to start. The bread was good, but I wish the butter had been a bit warmer so we could spread it. The pickle plate wasn't quite what I was expecting- A mix of turnips, carrots, fennel, sweet peppers, and cauliflower - These items weren't listed on the menu, otherwise we would've ordered something different. All in all, a great spot and we will definitely be back!

Been here multiple times now, always my go to for a laid back ambiance with high quality steaks and drinks. The mushrooms are a must-order with your steak, trust me.

Shambles is truly the Meat Temple. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of meat and the precise preperation. Service was very good and Ben’s recommendations were spot on! Shambles’ steak cuts aren’t cheap, but worth the indulgence. I’ll go back!

Absolutely delicious. Portions are small but decadent. One in my party thought the mushrooms were the best they had ever had. Very cozy.

Everything the four of us ordered was beautiful and delicious! I had steak tartare, which is hard to find in this town, and was the perfect combination of egg, arugula pesto, and mustard, served with lovely, toasted baguette slices. My partner had miso cod with asparagus -- my, oh my! He let me have a bite, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don't get me started on the desserts. We shared bread pudding and cheesecake -- both lovely. The bartender made me a lovely Perfect Manhattan. Only disappointment was that there weren't as many beers on tap as usual, but what they had was satisfying. Love this place and the wonderful staff!

First time here so they walked us through how to choose a steak. They are set up well for sharing so you can choose a few different types of steak for the table and they’ll come sliced into shareable pieces. Everything was delicious including salads, sides and bread pudding for dessert. Steak was tender and well seasoned. I definitely recommend it.

The best steak I’ve ever had. This place is our new go to special occasion spot. From the pickle plate, to the steak and mashed potatoes to the bread pudding it’s honestly amazing!!!

Excellent everything! Service, ambiance, sides and the star of the show - amazing beef!!!! A real ‘local Joint’ that’s a bit away from downtown Seattle, but worth the UBER ride! Will definitely be back!

We live in the neighborhood and love Shambles. The food and cocktails are great and the ambiance is vibrant and cozy. We've always liked it since they first opened but I do think there have been a few changes for the better since new ownership took over...mainly a more diverse menu and just a few touches to the space that have elevated the space a bit. Definitely recommend it!
