    Presentation was perfect, The roast was by far the best we have had - gravy was so tasty and all the veg cooked to the right texture - overall couldnt have been any better - Everything was perfect and worth the visit, will be booking again soon :-)

    Lovely lunch to celebrate my Dad’s 91st birthday. Staff (in particular Harry) were very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Overall a great experience

    One of the best roasts I've ever had, everything had so much flavour and was presented beautifully - loved it and definitely will be back!

    Love the Thursday special menus that change weekly. Great value for money and a great way to try new foods. The atmosphere is really reminiscent of a good old fashioned pub, friendly and inclusive.

    Chilled atmosphere with no restriction on how long you have the table for. Great food. Great log burner. Perfect winter retreat for food

    Nice atmosphere and good service with friendly staff. Food was nicely presented and the starters were good ( bread and olives and pheasant samosas) Main courses not so good - the aubergine parmesan was just half an aubergine with a bit of tomato sauce and cheese - more of a starter really and definitely not parmegiana The ravioli was very garlicky Quite expensive at 19.95 The vegan desert tasted weird and not chocolatey enough
