    The Ramada Beacon is open and ready to serve our valued guests. The Health and Safety of our guests and team members has always been a top priority for us - even more so during this challenging time. Beyond our usual diligence, we are: 1) Ensuring all dishes, cutlery and glassware are cleaned properly. All table tops and surfaces are cleaned between each guest. 2) Bathrooms are cleaned with greater frequency, are disinfected - as well as our regular cleaning. 4) Disinfecting our debit machines after each use. 5) Our team is washing their hands at regular intervals. 6) We support our team in staying home if they are not feeling well. As we continue to do everything we can to provide you with a safe environment, we ask that you do your part. If you have traveled out of the country or are not feeling well, please stay home. If you do come to visit, please wash or sanitize your hands before you come in. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Made a 4:15 reservation for Christmas buffet for 4 people. Arrived promptly and checked in @ 4:10. Stood and waited 20 min before asking if our table was ready, once again. Watched as they sat all of the 4:30 reservations. Walked out at 4:45. An exceptional performance for my GF’s Birthday dinner. Won’t be back.

    Tried the Christmas Day Buffet and overall it was a positive experience. Plenty of food and selection/variety of buffet was very good. Only slight drawback was a bit skimpy with portion slice of turkey per plate. Other than that everything was good. The servers were wonderful and overall ambiance of The Shore was pleasant. We dined at The Shore a few weeks earlier, and the meals of Salmon and Short Rib of Beef was delicious. We would definitely return to try other items on their menu.

    The Buffett was good, not exceptional For the price I would have expected a more varied selection, and the coffee and tea were not include in the $60.00/ person price ! The servers were very good and very friendly and the restaurant is very pretty with a great view

    The view over the lake was beautiful! The food was hot and delicious. We really enjoyed the sweet potatoe casserole.

    Upon arriving we waited at the entrance for ten minutes while the receptionist sorted out problems with reservations. We ordered drinks which were slow in coming. We did not have salads or soup. The roasted vegetables were good as was the turkey which we all enjoyed. The turkey dressing was tasteless and dry. The dessert table was disappointing with pumpkin and apple pies, fruit and tiny squares. Coffee was good although we had to wait for it. We were told that we had two hours for our meal and we spent twenty minutes waiting for service. The buffet cost $60.00, coffee $4.00 and large wine $15.00. I would not recommend this restaurant.

    beautiful setting and nice to have a brunch option for Christmas; buffet was pricey which in itself was okay but the food quality and selection was very disappointing

    Another Fabulous dinner experience with our family. Beautiful remodel, elegant but relaxed menu perfect for young and old. Beautiful location.

    The dining room has been renovated beautifully. Stylish and comfortable. Soft lighting and romantic music that makes you wish there was a dance floor. We were a party of six on a Sunday evening and it was very quiet. All our meals were great with one exception - the braised short rib was a bit tough and grisly but all others including the Niagara Gold Salad with Salmon, Rigatoni, Steak, Fish and Chips, Margarita Pizza plus desserts and cappuccinos were outstanding. We will definitely return soon!

    We had great server in Taylor but the food was hit and miss. Ordered the prime rib special medium rare with au jus on side. Came out white in middle and rock hard. 25 minutes later a new piece came covered in au jus and was still no pink to be found. I think they precook these during the day, there is no plausible way this was a fresh cut. Tough, chewy and white, both times. For $40, you expect them to get temp right. Our waitress was great and handled it well but we kind of thought since we had this happen and then had to wait to eat (while everyone else was finished) they would have done something, a dessert or free coffee…anything. We will probably be back but for more of pizza day experience. The prime rib is a definite no go for me.
