The Speakeasy Steakhouse is located in the area previously known as the Grand Lobby of the Majestic Theatre and has been transformed into a wonderfully intimate and elegant small dining area and bar. To allow additional seating for guests the patio (both covered and open) is available. The owners’ goal is to dramatically elevate the use of this space and create a fun and whimsical place filled with a sense of bygone elegance from the Prohibition Era of the 1920’s and 1930’s--bringing a unique essence into Sedona's 'Village.' The menu is beautiful--flavor packed in choices and focused on a steakhouse/seafood format that features a global wine list and fun cocktails.

Like a true Speakeasy, you find us by driving down a back alleyway behind Tuesday Morning in the Sedona Vista Village mall. Or, from State Route 179 - Turn onto JACKS CANYON ROAD at the roundabout, take the First LEFT onto CORTEZ DRIVE, take an immediate LEFT to park. The Speakeasy is located within the Majestic Theatre (has a huge side patio).

It was their last night open when we were there, as they told customers they had lost too much business and were forced to close due to local construction. Service slow, wines limited, tuna mis-cooked, freezer burned lobster tail, horribly cheesy singer who admitted he usually played nursing homes. But great ambiance, good steak, tasty yams, and a wistfully OK experience given their obvious sorrow....

The best Steak we ever had! All the people who worked there were so accommodating and nice! All the sides were great! The drinks superb!!! My husband was an ex bartender and he said his drink was the best one he ever had and he’s very picky! Loved the interior!

Went there for our 30th Anniversary dinner from Phoenix and it was Great! We had the steak bites which were done perfect then had the 24oz T-bone to share, with the baked potato and broccoli which was a great sharing size. They surprised us with their decadent chocolate cake with warm mixed berries. Great food, Great atmosphere, and Great service!! Don't hesitate to give this place a try.

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We both were very happy with our meals. She ordered the salmon and was very happy. I ordered the bone in rib eye and loved it, cooked just the way I ordered and seasoned just right. It was not crowded as it was off season and it was a Thursday night so the dining area was not crowded and the noise level was very low which we both love. We didn't have to holler to be heard over the music. The atmosphere was perfect. Both the owners came by and spoke to us and checked to make sure everything was to our liking. Our waiter was great and made sure we were well taken care of. Loved the choices of the "old time" cocktails. We look forward to visiting again.

The Speakeasy was beyond amazing! We got there a little after closing and Annie and Jeffery decided to open the place back up for us and serve us, little did they know we were celebrating a graduation and an anniversary. They made the night so romantic and PERFECT for us. We would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This restaurant is AMAZING! My fiance and I were in Sedona Celebrating our 5th anniversary and we couldn't have picked A better place to do it at. After being seated in this authentic looking speakeasy, the owner and head Chef Jeff introduced himself and was very welcoming. Our food was cooked to perfection, my filet mignon literally melted in my mouth and my Fiance's duel lobster tails were so delicious we wanted two more! To top it all off, Jeff personally brought us out 2 glasses of the best champagne they had to help us celebrate our special day. He truly made us feel one of a kind and we can't WAIT to come back!

Very nice place for a quiet dinner. We both had the tuna which was delicious. Shared sides of broccoli and the baked potato. Very generous portions. It was a slow night there, only one other big party celebrating a birthday. Service was attentive, with the owner stopping by to introduce himself and check on our experience. I’d definitely return.
