This was our first time at the Standard and we were pleasantly surprised. We started off with mussels, wedge salad and the garlic bread all of which were excellent, but the garlic bread stood out, last time I can remember a garlic bread that good was at Michael Jordan's Restaurant in downtown Chicago. We ordered steaks, perfectly seasoned, only issue i would comment to is temperatures were slightly off but the overall flavor was excellent. I added shrimp, which was excellent. The dessert was great. Overall a great addition to the food scene and definitely hope the quality and service continue, we definitely will be back soon!

Perhaps one of the best meals I've ever eaten! If you like French onion soup, you definitely need to try it here. BEST EVER. Everything we ordered was delicious. Great portion sizes too! Worth every cent!

My wife and I had awesome experience. First, the ambience was very calming and romantic. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. Our food, which came in a timely manner, was great quality and very delicious. I recommend this restaurant for everyone's date night.

Couldn’t have asked for a better valentines evening. Pretty frequently when myself and my young daughter go out to eat I feel we’re dismissed but staff here were excellent! Our server Allison was knowledgeable of the menu and super friendly. Everything we ordered was worth coming back for again and when we had a special visitor at our table my daughter was thrilled to find out it was the chef! The atmosphere, the food, and the people all make the perfect dining experience and I’ll definitely be back!

Our waitress. Le Low was wonderful! She made the experience fun and she was very attentive!! Food was excellent! My Husband got the Mahi Mahi and even ate the Brussel sprouts that he hates! My sirloin was the best!! Will be back also for the dirty olive martinis!!

Both the service and the food were outstanding. The server was very personable and very professional, and the food (mussels, mahi-mahi, and veal chop parmesan) were tremendous. There was no room for any dessert. A great time overall!!!

The vibe of the restaurant and the service was 5 star, but our steaks were over cooked although we asked for medium well, the steaks had a good flavor but was dry and tough in the middle. We decided not to send them back, because we waited a while to receive our food. The Brussel sprouts were excellent! I would go back again but not for a steak.
