A restaurant that celebrates the splendour of British seafood and produce from local farms.

We are delighted to use the finest of local producers, farmers, and growers of the region. Seafood will always remain our focus. Oysters from Pinneys of Orford, fresh fish from Wightman based in Lowestoft, as well as meat from Salter & King in Aldeburgh, we are incredibly lucky to work with the best.

                  Superb! Service excellent. Friendly and professional. Took my dad for his birthday. They gave him a little dish of sweet treats after our lunch, on the house. Only negative was the room felt a little on the chilly side. We had oysters followed by a whole brill for two (specials menu) served with the best chips and a great radicchio salad. So good 😊

                  Fabulous food. The scallops and halibut were particularly good. Fresh, juicy, sweet and perfectly cooked with extra sauce as requested. With a few tweaks in his approach, the new executive chef has taken the menu to another level This restaurant has a lovely warm ambience. Great professional service and staff brimming with enthusiasm and details on the dishes and drinks. The whole experience is delivered so well by George and the team

                  Food was sublime - crab starter really out of this world Service, whilst friendly, was so uninterested at times we rather felt we were in the way! Wont rush back at those prices

                  Had a wonderful family lunch this afternoon at The Suffolk. Had such an enjoyable experience the last time, and this was a similar experience. Food and service were excellent, and there was a great buzz about the place. Just what we were hoping for. Thanks for looking after us
