The good the bad and the ugly. The good was the amazing special of the day the flatbread with cheese and mushrooms and truffles. It was unbelievably good. My Bolognese was fine and the artichoke salad got five stars. The bad was the Hamachi Crudo, which was OK and the ugly the lobster. The half lobster on pasta was very disappointing. The lobster was not fresh and not very good. Fortunately it did not ruin the linguine which was fine. The service was wonderful, attentive and caring. We had a family member Who was in a lot of pain and our server was very understanding and packed up are to go order quickly so we could get home. The restaurant location is beautiful on the beach. It was a windy, sunny, beautiful ocean day.

From my favorite father and son duo in the parking lot to the hosting staff to my favorite tacos to my favorite waitress Ash, everything is always excellent. See you all next time!!!

It was my first time there. Service was great! We had a window seat on a quiet Sunday night.Me and my partner got the Salmon dinner shared and it was phenomenal. The lobster Mac is also a staple if you go, it is a huge portion! The octopus starter was great as well!

The service was very bad. Waited 15 minutes to have drinks and appetizer orders taken. Had to chase waiters down for simple items. Had to chase waiter down to get the check. Not acceptable when you’re spending $200 on a meal.

Loved coming to the Sunset!! Gorgeous gem of a place that was located right on the water in Malibu!! The food was aaammmaaazzinnnggg..we shared the shrimp tacos and the wagyu beef burger.. (HIGHLY recommend!!) oh and everyone there was extremely good looking, so that was fun! I will definitely be back soon.
