John Javier, the chef behind The Tent at the End of the Universe, once known for its ever-evolving Mediterranean cuisine, has introduced a bold new menu. This menu draws on the diverse culinary traditions he has mastered throughout his career, including traditional Chinese and classic French bistronomy. This new radical menu is served in The Tent's intimate dining room, where diners enjoy music from seated DJs on a world-class sound system. On Wednesdays, the restaurant hosts a live band playing world music.

    Join us Thursdays through Saturdays for an exclusive intimate dining experience, hidden beneath The Tent. A series of guest chef takeovers presented by John Javier. Zen Ong is the creator or Inda and Awan, and the former head of YZY Food. Now bringing Meja to The Tent, an Indonesian sharing tasting menu focused on communal dining, running until June. Offering the latest Override Menu @ £65 per person. (Minimum 6 guests, Maximum 12 sit-down) *Please note, we cannot cater to any dietary requirements with this menu.

    It was massively overpriced for what it was. The food was good but not exceptional especially considering what it was priced at. The waiter was rude and scoffed at us for getting the cheapest wine on the menu ...which was £50 ...the house red. A small room and 4 people squashed onto a tiny table listening to 2 people playing guitar/ flute - again they were good but it seemed to not all fit together. The lighting was good with the moon lamps but nothing made this special.

    Amazing food experience! I highly recommend it. The chef is a great guy who truly loves his job. I’ll definitely come back again. The cocktails are also delicious and very well prepared.
