   Food and service amazing. Meal was delicious we ate the lot, kids had a lovely time. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

   We waited over half an hour for someone to take our order and in the end I had to ask a passing waitress to take our order. Also, my wife was not very happy with her main course. She ordered pulled lamb shepherds pie from the specials menu but it was just minced meat and not pulled meat. We did get an apology for the slow service, but I’m not sure we will return.

   Perfect experience, meeting friends in a lovely place with lovely food & the loveliest of hosts too... highly recommend. Had the lunch beer battered fish, really enjoyed, home cooked food & excellent value!

    First time visiting, had Sunday menu. Staff very polite and pleasant but once mains had been cleared we had to ask of dessert menu after waiting for about 10-15 mins.
