Located in the heart of historic Genesee Depot just down the road from the famous Ten Chimneys you will find the Union House. Known for its unique menu featuring wild game fused with classic fine dining, our mission is to bring people together while creating a memorable dining experience surrounded by historic photos of the town along with Union House frequenters, Lynn Fontanne and Alfred Lunt. The menu is driven by ingredients and is constantly developing throughout the year led by award-winning Executive Chef and General Manager, Dan Harrell and Executive Sous Chef, Christian Garcia-Cortez. We feature an extensive wine, scotch and bourbon list highlighting selections from around the United States and world along with barrel-aged old fashioneds and Manhattans that include our very own hand-crafted bitters. We look forward to having you join us!

    It's the best restaraunt in our area! Top 5 in the Milwaukee area. The service is always top notch. Every employee goes out of their way to make sure you're dinner is a success. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny!

    We drove from Oak Creek to Genesee Depot…we lived in Mukonago for a longtime and decided that we would go back and “check it out” for old time sake and our 44th anniversary…we weren’t disappointed …the food was as good as we remembered it…the new owners have done an admirable job of not changing the ambiance or the menu…long drive but well worth it and yes we would go back…maybe when warmer

    Absolute PERFECTION from beginning to end. We had the Espresso Martini. Pisco Pear Sour. Various beers. Penelope Toasted Bourbon. Complimentary bread service. French Onion Soup. Herb Crusted Sea Bass. Rack of Red Deer. Side of Wild Mushrooms. Chocolate Creme Brulee. And complimentary Pot de Creme for our Anniversary. Possibly the best meal and service I’ve ever had!

    AMAZING!!!! The BEST crab cake I’ve EVER had!! My herb crusted Chilean sea bass melted in my mouth and my husband’s red deer was delicious!!!!! This is our FAVORITE restaurant! The service, cuisine and cocktails /wine are top notch!!! We can’t wait to come back!! Cheers!

    Love this restaurant. Hands down it is the best restaurant I’ve patronized in the general area. Nice ambience, great selection of recorded music, delicious food, great wait staff, I just can’t say enough positive things.

    We had a great meal with great drinks and food! Chilean sea bass was awesome —as were the scallops ! A very delightful meal

    What a great dinner! We had the most wonderful server (Georgia), and the evening was very relaxed. It was my friend's first time, and he was impressed!!!

    We were very disappointed to be put upstairs in the noisy party room with larger groups rather than being downstairs where the ambiance is quieter and matches the prices of the food. Would not go back if we were to be put up there again.

    Hi Jackie, first thank you for the review and the 5 stars on food and service. That being said with it being NYE we were full committed with reservations that evening and always try accommodating our guests requests as much as we can. When you made your reservation on Friday our entire dining room was already full with reservations requesting main dining. If you decide to give us another chance I will make note that you prefer main dining only. Thank you!
