The noise level was great last Friday. I missed the piano player. Sarah is always fun.
We need several entrees that are just regular food, like shrimp scampi, chicken piccata, veal Parmesan, chicken Kiev, more clam chowder. The bread is not good. Develop a signature hot roll covered with butter and powder and sugar, and a signature dessert that appeals to many such as banana foster,
Baked Alaska. I have to look at the menu to see if there is anything I would like. Usually I pass.
It is the same way with entrees when I order. I have to see if there is anything I can eat rather than choosing among several dishes I might love. Send out a questionnaire asking for suggestions for the menu.
I am not impressed when I walk in and am greeted with “do you have a reservation.?” This is a private club, right?
I am concerned about the financial stability of the Club’s future. It would be nice to see members of the Board eating there regularly.
Also, the dress code should be enforced. We don’t respect others by dressing in tennis shoes, farmers jeans, and country shirts. Children should be quiet and directed upstairs or to the informal room. They have ruined many an evening.
