The Urban Stillhouse by Horse Soldier Bourbon is a unique entertainment space featuring American cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, innovative craft cocktails, and bourbon education.

This 16,000 sq. ft restaurant bar and event space is influenced by the Horse Soldier Bourbon team’s historic background and favorite destinations including Kentucky, Montana, Wyoming, Canada, Scotland, and more.

The leather sofas, wood-burning fireplaces, copper stills, and vast bourbon “library” will transport you.

Dress Code:
The official dress code for The Urban Stillhouse is “smart casual”. Gym clothes, beach attire including flip flops, clothing with holes, non-dressy tank tops and ball caps are not appropriate for the elevated experience our patrons have come to expect from us.

    The Urban Stillhouse by Horse Soldier is versatile; designed with creativity and customization in mind. We want your event or special day to be perfect. Our 16,000 square-foot facility features three private dining rooms, an outdoor patio, three bars, a large upstairs space, “the library”, as well as the main dining floor. Book the building as a whole or design your event a-la-carte utilizing one or some of the various space options. Our state-of-the-art kitchen can accommodate any catering size and cuisine, as well, our full-service bars allow for creative mixology specific to your event. Most importantly, our professional event team cares about your group’s experience as much as you do and will strive for perfection.

    Food, service and ambiance were all outstanding. We had the oysters as an app and the lamb and bison for the main....all had great flavor and would definitely order again. We were 10 minutes early for our reservation and were told to check in closer to the time. No problem with that but unfortunately they do not have a bar to enjoy a drink while we wait. All bar seating is reserved.

    We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was an amazing experience. We did the bourbon tasting before dinner and it was super cool. The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing!

    We had a reservation for 730 however they did not see us for at least another 20 minutes. The waiter seem to be inexperienced and not very attentive. He wasn’t well-versed in the menu items. We ordered the lamb chops and they were chewy. The manager was very courteous and had them redone and then they were fine, but it took over an hour before we got our food .

    Once again you have outdone many experiences we encounter in St Pete. We usually do Sunday brunch which is outstanding to say the least. Dinner experience the same great attention to detail great service all around. The food … hard to pick but did not disappoint. Thank you !!!

    The food is getting very pricey there. Ask them to substitute the shrimp for meatballs in the pasta dish and they went ahead and added the price of meatballs and full price for the pasta dish.

    Attended a wine dinner (Wagner). I love the space, however for this dinner we were served in the upstairs area and the food I think was slow to us so, for example, the Crab soup was lukewarm. The dessert on the other hand, which was chilled, was perfect. The scallop was very good, lamb shank was delicious but should have been served more quickly before it felt as though it had been sitting awhile. The presentation of the wines was well done, however due to the noise level from down below I could only hear a portion of the descriptions and stories. It seems like, for events like this, some sort of sound deadening curtain or something might be useful.
