                                                                It was our first time at The Vintage and we did not regret it. Our server Ben was as good as they come. The escargot was as divine as the filet. We opted for the Oscar steak topping, but next time, I'll be trying the truffle bone marrow. Don't sleep on this steakhouse if you're in the SBC!

                                                                Great service and good food. Maybe a tab bit overpriced for Shreveport but I enjoyed myself. We definitely will go back next time I am in town.

                                                                We went for a birthday, it was very quiet in there and low lights which was nice, the waiter was super friendly but we wanted oysters they didn’t have but one order left, there mash potatoes were bland and awful, didn’t seem to be garlic at all, The shrimp was soggy not crispy and drowned in sweet sauce, and the steak was just ok nothing great. The waiter forgot the french onion soup, instead of offering it for us to go he just said i’ll bring dessert for free, we don’t even like sweets because we already had to send the sweet potatoes, back because we asked for no brown sugar on them. And the bill was $200 dollars for not a great experience, we won’t be back, we will go to 2 john’s, ernest, or jack binions or any where else and i don’t recommend at all.

                                                                Christmas Day dinner at 7 p.m. was an enjoyable experience. We are glad that Vintage was open. It was not crowded and the noise level was low; therefore, the overall ambiance was enhanced. My dining partner and I each had steak; I had filet (delicious) and he had ribeye. His was a bit too salty, however. Eddie, our server, was attentive and friendly. Because Vintage was not crowded, we were able to converse with him, which was enjoyable. Because Vintage is in Bally's casino, many of the diners were dressed casually. We chose to dress up because it was Christmas and also because such mode of dressing fit the environment of low lighting, carpeted floor, and wood paneling. If something other than steak is desired, several other options are available. I've enjoyed the seafood entrees on previous visits and recommend those.

                                                                I can’t truly rate anything but the service because we never got any service. We went there for a birthday celebration, and were seated immediately. About ten minutes later, the waiter (James) came by and we asked for the wine list. He brought it, then we never saw him again. After a 30 minute wait, the hostess passed by and we told her. She promptly got the manager, who could not have cared any less. It was at that moment we decided to just leave. They weren’t especially busy, we were just completely ignored. We are 59-60 years old, well dressed professionals. I guess our money wasn’t important to them. Do yourself a favor and go to Two John’s instead. That’s definitely what we’ll do from now on.
