My friend and I used to eat here many times....I on dates and She with her husband/family. It has always been great all around. It was Saturday night...7:30 resie, and immediately were told kitchen closes in 10 minutes and that we had to order. We should have walked out then and gone to Boulevard!! It ALL went downhill from there. What restaurant in the City closes at 8:00 pm on a Saturday night?!! Open Table even had resies going up until 10:00 pm, so we had no idea until we got to Waterfront! Had a Beautiful table with view of the water and Bay bridge, but other than that, BIG MISTAKE! Out server didn't even let us in on why we were so rushed, just saying they want to close at 8 pm, heard also "well because of the pandemic" which is barely relevant now after a few years time. We hadn't even finished our salad's when our Entrees came. I asked for a Veggie Risotto which came a bunch of "weedy" something or another, no veggies, and not enough rice. They even gave me a birthday dessert which they charged me for....first time on that. Just VERY bad and disappointing ALL around. I will NEVER set foot again!!

I took two friends to have a memorable holiday cheer. The request for the upper level was closed. I have been here a few times, but it has been a few years since I returned, and I will not be going again. My choice was clam chowder and crab sandwich. They did not have clam chowder even though the restaurant was almost empty, and at an early hour, 12:30 PM. There were no other soup choices. The crab sandwich was a crab salad with maynoise, not a fresh crab one, so I did not order it. The crab cake appetizer I ordered for the 3 of us was two bite-size crabcakes. My friend ordered Caesar salad with prawns, but the waiter had to go to the kitchen to make sure they had any prawns even though there were several items on the menu with prawns. They served it with four sad-looking prawns on the side. This is primarily a seafood restaurant but lacking in seafood. I spent over $400.00 for a disappointing lunch. The location and view of the bay and bay bridge are beautiful. The interior is very pretty.

The Service from the Host and our Server was Outstanding, they were the kindest, but we had a problem that the kitchen changed our food order and didn’t tell us and didn’t tell the server either, overall nice experience for new years and as I repeat the service by our server and tye host was outstanding

It was NYE and it was exceptionally busy but disappointing they ran out of some of the options on the fixed menu and some of our selections were not very good (under cooked salmon, small prime rib portions, not very flavorful lobster bisque) Servers were very nice and accommodating but a few items were overlooked like ensuring we had steak knives or utensils before leaving our table. The location is beautiful and there was wonderful bar service at the bar. Our experience was mixed.
