    This has got to be one of the best places for a Sunday Roast, we have been the last two Sundays and the food has been exceptional.

    Friendly staff, keen to help, food was excellent. Ambience is busy country gastro pub, but great to see lots of locals there too. We’ll be going back.

    Really nice pub with a good choice of food on the menu. The staff was friendly and it has a relaxed atmosphere. We would come back.

    Worth the visit for the Tiger Bread and Marmite Butter alone but the Roast Chicken and Fish and Chips also excellent. Service also excellent.

    Superb Sunday lunch! The food was excellent, staff very friendly and the pub had a really lovely atmosphere. Couldn’t fault it, and possibly the best Sunday lunch out I’ve ever had

    Best meal we’ve had there in a few years! I think this was the first time trying the food with the newish chef/owners. Arancini, fish and chips, as well as the halibut with celeriac were all delicious :)

    Great food and service, but experience ruined by placing us on a table next to the front door and bar. It was 2 degrees outside and we had a Baltic blast every time people came and went. Also, as the bar area is tiny, anyone going to it was peering over our table. Although we mentioned it unfortunately there were no other tables available.
