The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. This includes a specialty cocktail menu with different seasonal ingredients along with a fresh mocktail menu. The Tavern offers brunch seven days a week with bottomless brunch cocktails and Sunday jazz brunch from 11am-2pm. On Friday & Saturday local musicians perform from 8-11pm. White Oak is located in Enchanted Forest Shopping Center in Ellicott City. Make sure to stop by & try the award-winning burger, draft beers and see what the makes The Tavern unique. Cheers!

    Sunday Brunch was awesome! The food, drink, service and even the live jazz music was great. We will definitely return. The only "nit-picky" thing I would suggest- we had a table by the windows and the sun was blinding for half of our party. Maybe add some blinds as an option for those sitting next to windows??? Like I said, "nit-picky".

    We had a wonderful experience at the Sunday Live Jazz Brunch! The music was perfect in terms of volume...the food was outstanding and our server was truly delightful! Highly recommend!

    $65 for a brunch that consisted of what could be had at a hotel free breakfast. Not even Las Vegas gouges their customers in this manner.

    Adam was great! We loved the dry rub wings! My burger was cooked perfect! The butternut squash and apples were tasty. My husband had the Turkey Rachel with fries. But we’re really good.

    We chose The White Oak Tavern for brunch/lunch. When we arrived the host wasn’t there, even thought the place didn’t look busy at all and we had to wait for a bit to get seated. Our waiter was courteous and helpful though. Let’s start with drinks. I ordered a virgin drink and my friend ordered a mixed spirited drink and both of our drinks were subpar. Mine had an artificial taste to it and my friend wasn’t impressed with their drink either. We ordered a few items from the appetizers menu and overall the food was ok. Our favorite was a trio of soups they had that day and smoked wings with buffalo sauce. The atmosphere is more of a sports bar than a traditional restaurant. We had a big family with young kids seated right behind us and the kids screamed every time their team scored or lost. If we knew it was a sports bar we’d probably go somewhere quieter.

    We dined here on a Wednesday night and being unusually warm, we sat outside. My Curried Cauliflower Bowl with chicken was delicious and my wife enjoyed it her Pumpkin Bisque and Caesar Salad. Our server was very friendly and attentive. A very enjoyable night and dining experience. Lots of free parking.
