    Guests dining at Thomsons are entitled to complimentary self-parking in the underground parkade of Hyatt Regency Calgary. Please note that parking is subject to availability. Please present your parking ticket to a Thomsons server for validation. Hyatt also offers valet in case self-parking slots are full. Valet fees apply. Alternative parking is also available nearby.

    The C-TRAIN platform is ideally situated adjacent to Hyatt Regency Calgary, where Thomsons Kitchen & Bar is located. You can travel for only $3.50 per trip. The Downtown C-TRAIN transportation is a free fare zone. Taxis are also available 24 hours a day in front of the hotel.

    Meh Drinks, Disappointing Food Went to this bar yesterday, and honestly, I was expecting a better experience. The drinks were just okay—not terrible, but nothing special either. The real letdown was the food. I ordered the crab cakes, and my first impression was that they might have been frozen patties. They didn’t taste fresh at all, which was disappointing. Overall, not the worst place, but definitely not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit again.

    Great ambience. Some dishes stand out, like the potatoes, cakes, soup, and pancakes. Limited vegetarian options—just soup, salads and garden veggies. Desserts are heavy on dark chocolate, and the coffee was cold.

    Great atmosphere, great food (best fish and chips we've had in town in years), and for a downtown restaurant, the value was definitely there. We'll definitely be going back

    The food was okay. The bison was chewy and we didn't have a steak knife to cut the bison, only a butter knife.

    We had the four course vegan valentine special and the food was amazing the flavours were bold and complimentary. The service was top-notch. The tables were big and comfortable.

    Food was excellent, hot, fresh and tastefully created. The service was slow, but the food quality was very high. An excellent choice when you have time to dine!

    As always, the service was wonderful and we enjoyed our meal. We did find we were quite thirsty following the meal and wondered about the salt on the fries. We will definitely be back!
