    Thomsons is available to be booked for private events. Right next to the restaurant is Thomsons Social Hub perfect for unconventional and bold occasions.     Guests dining at Thomsons are entitled to complimentary self-parking in the underground parkade of Hyatt Regency Calgary. Please note that parking is subject to availability. Please present your parking ticket to a Thomsons server for validation. Hyatt also offers valet in case self-parking slots are full. Valet fees apply. Alternative parking is also available nearby.

    The C-TRAIN platform is ideally situated adjacent to Hyatt Regency Calgary, where Thomsons Kitchen & Bar is located. You can travel for only $3.50 per trip. The Downtown C-TRAIN transportation is a free fare zone. Taxis are also available 24 hours a day in front of the hotel.

    Our server was amazing -- I would likely spell her name incorrectly however we have had her many times before and she is just lovely, kind, and efficient. She always makes our time at Thomsons wonderful.

    Location is great. Service subpar. Three waitresses but no where to be found but chatting on the other side of the restaurant by the bar throughout the 1 hr we were there. Asked for tea and coffee and that took 15 and 2 waitresses to obtain the coffee and tea. Appalled at the lack of service for a 50 per person brunch.

    Brunch buffet was well presented with a good selection and good quality. I liked that eggs Benedict was made to order for freshness. Atmosphere was nice and decorated beautifully for the holidays. Service was attentive and pleasant.

    A number of the dishes I didn’t care for and a few selections the serving dishes were empty. The omelettes were delicious as well as the crispy potatoes. Enjoyed the shellfish selections. We miss the old restaurant/lounge before renovations. It looked classy and cozy pre renovation. The service at the bar, the tables and the buffet was second to none. So friendly and accommodating. We look forward to our next visit.

    Fantastic food. The beef short ribs were outstanding. Great waitress too. The Black Forest cheesecake was delicious! Highly recommend.

    Saturday night (place was not busy) Sat down with my son, said I was waiting for my wife and daughter, no drink offered, just came over and poured water. I ordered for my family, still no drink offered and I figured to wait to see if he did and nothing through out the meal. Food was pretty good, but overpriced for what you get. On the Sunday they have a brunch from 10-2 and $45 per person….again, place was dead and you could not get a menu for quick drink and appetizer. From the event that was going on in the hotel…. Easily 50 people went somewhere else because they didn’t want the brunch, just something off the menu. Been coming to the hotel many years, talked to managers and still an empty restaurant sits due to bad management decisions. Won’t be going back restaurant as there’s way too many to choose from in the area right out the door like milestone, saltlik.

    We had brunch here on a Sunday, the bar side of the restaurant has really nice decor. The food was wonderful! Eggs benedict and omelettes. The service was perfect. We would come back here again.
