A new rooftop restaurant in downtown Easton. Now open on the seventh floor of The Commodore building. Thyme Rooftop Grille offers a progressive New American menu thoughtfully designed by executive chef Brad Shive. The restaurant offers a extensive cocktail list and wine program for guests to enjoy as they dine overlooking the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers, College Hill and downtown Easton.

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the Delaware. Great views from all tables. Food was delicious, perfectly prepared and served. Our server was attentive and made excellent recommendations. Though it was a busy Saturday night, we did not feel rushed and our server was wonderful. Will be back again!

Beautiful settinng with views over the river. Food doesn’t live up to menu descriptions. Really nothing more than fancy dressed up diner food. VERY noisy! needs work on acoustics Overpriced Wouldn’t make it in NYC. Mussels very good.

Restaurant was easy to find. We were able to park on the street without hassle. Very nice place. Our waiter was really attentive and kind. I got the Chicken Salad Tartine and my date got the Chorizo Chilli. The Chicken Salad Tortine had the potential of being a great light brunch dish not feeling overly full afterward. I was pleasantly disappointed and didn’t finish the meal. The presentation was not its best and it was served in a small plate leaving me no room to maneuver with a fork and knife. My food got messy and was spilling on the table. I got frustrated and stopped. Lol The chilli was delicious and was served in a dish much like mine should had been served in. The cocktails were really good as well. I would definitely give it another try though.

First time visiting this establishment. I quickly learned that there is a $25 per person fee for a no show when making reservations. But we arrived on time and used the valet parking as it was only $5. It took a couple laps around the block to figure out how it worked because there’s no dedicated lane for it. Just pull up at the corner, turn on your hazard lights, and the valet will bring you a ticket. We sat at the bar and waited for our table, about 30 minutes. The martinis were good, just on the smaller side. At the table, we offered questions to the server and she answered them very well. My wife ordered the ostrich steak and I the washagyu. We both ordered a salad as well. The ostrich had good flavor but was a bit chewy. The washagyu is a Waygu cow crossed with American beef. One side of it was seasoned, the other not as much. It was also a bit chewy and had a large section of gristle through the middle. Not a great cut, minimal flavor. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. One blob of potato that was mashed (not whipped potatoes with cream and butter) dropped on the plate, 4 stalks of asparagus on top of the potatoes, and one 10 ounce cut of beef on that. If you like your food piled together, this is for you. If you prefer to enjoy each flavor separately, find another restaurant. From what I could see through the restaurant, other meals were served similarly piled together. There’s also no salt and pepper on the tables, no bread either. After our meal, we were going to order dessert. I would recommend that you order that first so they’ll hold a piece for you before it’s sold out. For the cost of the meal, you pay more for the location, the view, and the rent for being on the top floor. The food quality and menu diversity is ok at best. Nothing really outstanding. The noise level is as expected with a full restaurant, less people means less noise. The bar tab is paid separately from the meal, as is the valet.

We had a reservation but we waited 20 minutes to get our table. There were a lot of people waiting and the hosts seemed very disorganized getting everyone to their tables. The food was good. Our server was excellent- very knowledgeable and helpful. My biggest complaint is the requirement to have a CC on file and they will charge you $25 per person if you don’t give them a days notice to cancel. I won’t be returning to Thyme. There are many other wonderful restaurants in Easton.

Our credit card policy is in place for guests who do not call to cancel their reservation. When that happens we are unable to rebook the table. As long as you let us know you will not be making it in or cancel through the Opentable app or email, we will not charge the $25. The yuca fríes were the best i have ever had. The view made you feel like you were not in the Lehigh valley. My steak was done perfectly.

Excellent in every respect! From the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted by the hostess, to every interaction with our server Al, and Miquel, it was perfect. The bartender’s cocktails were fabulous and every dish was simply perfect. Service was the most gracious and well-informed we’ve had in the area in YEARS - top notch. On top of all that, the setting was wonderful- soft lighting but gentle down-lighting at each table, and a great soft playlist that we could just hear and enjoy without it ruining conversation. Fantastic evening in every way!
