The menu looked innovative and enticing but execution fell short. The spot prawns were mushy in texture. The chicken skewers were fine, but were basic grilled poultry with nothing unique about them. The chorizo goyas were better but felt heavily fried.
The environment is very loud, so if you’re looking for a relaxing dinner experience, this isnt it. And you know things arent quite right when you go home and your clothes smell of fried food.
We will give Kudos to a milk punch whiskey based cocktail. Very smooth and flavorful.
It looks like Richard Blais developed a very interesting menu, but if he wants to keep his good name he and his team should ensure better execution. It’s still early days for this restaurant. Perhaps give them more time to perfect it.
