Celebrate Christmas Eve at TĪNG Restaurant, and enjoy a delightful three-course meal accompanised by a flute of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. With options such as Game Terrine with Kumquat Relish, Wild Sea Bass with Sprout Leaves, Edamame, and Coconut and Lemongrass Sauce, and the Shang Mont Blanc, a delectable combination of blackcurrant, chestnut mousse. Available from 18:00-22:15 and priced at £180 (price inclusive of VAT and service charge). Please contact the restaurant if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Allocation time: 2 hours. Cancellation policy: If cancelled 4 weeks prior to the event, full refund will be given. Less than 4 weeks prior to the event will not be refunded.

Delight in a sumptuous sharing menu designed for you to taste a little of everything, including hero dishes like Char Siu Pork Belly with Hispi Cabbage and Salt & Vinegar Pork Crackling, as well as traditional Norfolk Turkey Breast with House Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce, accompanied by Roast Potatoes and Root Vegetables. Conclude your feast with sweets, such as Christmas Misu with Gingerbread Cream and Citrus, or a rich Chocolate Yule Log. Available between 12:30-16:00 or 18:00-21:00, and priced at £275. Was initially apprehensive given that Ting's views might mean that the restaurant borders on touristic (and overly busy such that food and service would be compromised) - although was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Food was good, service was impeccable and seamless, and the team was very thoughtful (in assisting with my mum's birthday celebration). Great value for money to, with the weekday set lunch!

The evening started on a negative. I had wrongly assumed that if you booked into Ting, you would be welcome into the other bar/s for a drink beforehand. At the entrance, this turned out not to be the case. We were told that we could use the sky bar but they wanted a £30 per person minimum spend for the privilege. I had booked the 3 course meal for 2 of us. When we arrived, it transpired to be a 3 course 'festive' menu. We raised this with staff on arrival and were offered the a la carte as an option. The service, to be fair to the restaurant was great. Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. We had the game terrine and the crab for starter. The game was tasteless and well under seasoned. For main we both had duck. The fat on the duck was rubbery and if you removed it from the half breast we each had, the meat was tasteless. The dessert was probably the best part of the meal, however, the mousse we had was tasteless and it came with goats cheese ice-cream which in all honesty was just like eating goats cheese and took over the rest of the dessert. The other option was nice enough but was like a large mince pie. We raised all the issues with staff as things happened. One member of staff came over to advise that it would have been better if we'd had the a la carte.... which didn't go down well as the food should be good regardless of what menu you choose. I asked the desk when leaving about whether we should at least have been able to use the sky bar before our dinner. Considering you can just walk down the stairs to it. He advises if we had a reservation, they should have not put a minimum spend requirement on us should we have wanted to have a pre drink. We had wanted to try Ting ever since visiting aqua shard years ago and was so disappointed. Really did not live up to expectations.

Beautiful Saturday night dinner date at Ting. The Chirstmas decoration at the Shangri-La, in the entrance hall and upstairs was a great start. As always the view facing London Bridge is breathtaking. Our waiter Emilio was particularly attentive to all our wishes, ideas and dietary requirements. Tha mango pana cotta, the Chardonnay from Kazakhstan were highlights. Recommended!

We had a wonderful relaxed lunch in such a special place with fantastic views over London. My one criticism would be that the set lunch menu is very limited. However, I would definitely visit again. Loved it

Really enjoyed the experience. The weather was good for our breakfast view over the Thames and south bank. Food was well prepared - we eventually went for the buffet breakfast although there were various al la carte offerings. Many options on the buffet from the 'standard' to the more exotic. Everything seemed to be fresh and well cooked. Staff friendly and proficient. Low noise level creating good ambience. Would definitely go again and would also possibly try the evening meal at Ting. Compares well to other top notch places for breakfast (Darwins at the Sky Gardens, etc) on price and quality. Recommended you give it a go, but you must book because it's popular.

Overpriced and unbelievably drinking water offered was payable without our knowledge at £17 something a 1 litre bottle! Who does that?

Unfortunately disappointed by the experience. I usually have dinner at Hutong (another Asian restaurant at the Shard), but this time decided to try something new. Food was very average (or worse) - unbalanced flavors or quite tasteless. Water was warm and bread was very dry. Not quite in line with what one would expect when ordering 40£ dishes. We have been seated very far from the window (which is fine, I expected that could happen as window seating is guaranteed) but in front of an “operations” area for the staff: door leading into a back area, counter with (untidily kept) cutlery, orders computer, … I was honestly expecting more, what a pity.

Very disappointed I’m afraid. Whilst the food was amazing, the service was abysmal. We opted for the taster menu which was lovely food but the starter arrived whilst we were eating our amuse bouche, then the second course arrived whilst I was eating the first one and the waiter waited next to me whilst I finished that!!! Then a forty minute gap until the next course, we had to ask to order a drink and ask for the long awaited main course. They seemed so disorganised in there. Such a shame as we’d travelled up from Poole for the weekend. Wish we’d got room service now as that was great and half the price!
