As a longtime Tom Brown patron, they were way off their game on our most recent visit. We had reservations, but we had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated. After being seated, it was another 5+ minutes before our waitress came to our table - and that was just to say she would be back for our drink order. We eventually ordered our cocktails & appetizers, but we were long finished with both, before she took our entrée orders - completely disrupting the rhythm of the meal. I ordered the filet & lobster tail, asking for the former to be rare+, but medium rare, at the most -- along with a nice bottle of wine. When the wine was brought to our table, the accompanying glasses were filthy, with wine residue in them, looking as though they were never cleaned after their last use. When I pointed this out to our server, she offered no apology, but merely blamed it on the inexperience of the individual who served the wine! Well, my steak arrived medium, to medium well. Adding to my disappointment, the lobster tail was overcooked as well, leaving the finished product dry & rubbery. Not wanting my wife to eat alone, I went ahead and ate my meal, as is -- but it was less than satisfying, certainly not up to Tom Brown's usual standards. Fortunately, the dessert was a positive end to an otherwise disappointing dining experience - certainly not worth the $400 I paid. I'll think twice before returning here, but may give it a second chance in the hope that this experience was an outlier.

This is not the experience we want to our guests to have, especially with food quality, service, and cleanliness. We will address these concerns with this the team to ensure improvements are made to prevent situations like this from happening again. We hope to have the chance to make things right in the near future.
