Expected better, food was ok. When they first opened the food was outstanding, now not so outstanding.

Hi Karen, We are sorry that you were disappointed. If we had known you were unhappy with your food or service during your visit we would have done our best to fix it. We still use the same recipes for our Egg Rolls and Steak Tips as we did when we first opened. Apologies, Joanne

We had a reservation, we were promptly seated. Our server, Laura, introduced herself and took my drink order. My Husband loves differnt beers. She was sure to make sugestions and even offered him a sample. When it came to ordering dinner she was very patient with us letting us take our time enjoying our drinks and our appetizer. The jalopeno poppers are soooo good. I wanted to order the Sea Food Casserole, which was a special for the night. Unfortunely, it had been sold out. Laura helped both me and my husband pick out our meals. Sorry no pictures. Both were delious. Thier steaks are all amazing !

We waited for over and hour for burgers. They were just ok. Not worth it. We just wanted to try. Not again. I think they need more staff on a Friday.

Hi Bryan, We are sorry that your meals (2 burgers, 1 medium, 1 well done) took so long however, as your server explained last night, it was human error. Unfortunately mistakes do happen and Renee simply neglected to send the order to the kitchen. As soon as she realized, she let management know and the kitchen prioritized the order. Renee maintained communication with you throughout the evening, taking full blame. We understand that your visit was not ideal but you did seem very understanding and forgiving last night so we did not expect this review. We wish you expressed your frustration during you visit. Please accept out apologies. Thank you.

Our first time there…. Food was excellent, service was superb. Ashley was our waitress and she made our dinner experience even better than expected. Tavern style restaurant. Very casual atmosphere. We enjoyed our evening and will be going back very soon !!!

I would highly recommend going to the Tomahawk Tavern for great food and excellent service Ashley was my server she had my drinks at my table promptly she went over the dinner specials with me and gave me plenty of time to decide on what I wanted I got the teriyaki steak tips and they were delicious! Ashley kept checking with me to see if everything was good and if I needed anything else she has an awesome personality and made my dining experience very enjoyable she is my favorite server at the Tomahawk Tavern

We waited 20 min beyond our reservation to get seated. The table was high top though I had requested a regular table when I made the reservation. The food was fine, but all things I easily could have made at home - it was uninspired. Our waitress was fine but didn’t check in much. The wait for our food was about an hour from the time we ordered. It was quite loud in the room we were in, mostly due to one table yelling. It was ok, but not worth what we paid and I wouldn’t go back.

We are sorry that you were not happy with your experience. Your meals steak tip and filet mignon are some of our most popular items. Ashley, your server, is one of our highest rated servers so the fact that she didn't give you her normal stellar service, is unusual. We do realize that you had to wait for your table to be ready and we do apologize (you arrived at 6:31 and were not seated until 6:43). We do not impose time limits on our guests, so at times the tables run a little longer than we expect. We do try to honor seating requests although, with only 14 tables, (1/2 hightops) it can be difficult (but your reservation did not list any seating preference). I would encourage you to always speak up if you are unhappy, we would have loved to opportunity to fix the situation.

Aaliyah was my server she has a great personality she had my drinks out promptly she went over the specials with me I ordered the baked haddock dinner and it came out at a reasonable time even though she was quite busy serving other people she kept checking to see if I was all set and everything was good she is very good at her job the haddock was very good I also had chicken Cesar salad and that was delicious the Tomahawk Tavern is the place to go for excellent food and service!

Went on a Wednesday evening with friends who had been there before. My first time. Located in a strip mall, about a half mile from a well known steak restaurant Katherine was our waitress and she was great. Shared laughs together. The booths look cozy, some had TV's suggestive of a sports bar. Small area for dining. We did not have appies. One got a side Caesar salad, just looked like a bunch of lettuce, but she said it was ok. Rib eyes were cooked as desired. Mine was seasoned well but my friend's was not. Lots of fat, sometimes rib eyes are like that. Sides included which was good. There is no "liquor" at the bar. Wine, beer and canned mixed drinks. One person got desert, lemon mascarpone cake which she stated was dry.

We love trying different great steakhouses throughout the country, from Buckley's down the road to Ruth Chris, to many more. Okeechobee Steakhouse in WPB FL is our favorite. After our first visit, I have to say Tomahawk Tavern is in that same category. It's quite impressive and absolutely worth the visit. Great ambiance, excellent service and great tasting steak! We'll be back.
