Step out of the bustling cobblestone streets of Temple Bar and down the stairs to Tomahawk Steakhouse where beautiful windows allow in light from street level. This is an intimate and unique dining setting – and our steaks are the star of the show.

We have spent months researching where to source the best steaks from around the world and the results of that exploration is there is no better beef than Irish and we are proud to say that we serve only the market-best at Tomahawk.

Tomahawk has 80 delightful seats for you and your party to choose from. We have comfy corners matched with matte timber tables adorned with leather seats, where diners can enjoy their delicious meals under the ambient street lighting that pours in from above. Or you can choose to perch comfortably along the gorgeous timber dining bar set around our open kitchen and watch the theatre of a professional kitchen at work in front of you.

                      Stockman selected Irish Beef, dry aged for 21 days in our own Dry Aging room. All the steaks are cooked over our Grill master Wood Burning Grill, which gives the meat a light smoked finish.

                                  Whilst I would consider the price levels to be ‘toppy’ I have zero regrets as it was a stunning meal, exquisite meats and fantastic service.

                                  Booked for a birthday, everyone arrived on time , food was amazing. After dinner we asked for the desert menu as service was clearing the plates (they acknowledged the request). We were a table of 4 so 3/4 plates were cleared. Place was busy but not packed. 15 minutes later they came to take the remaining plate and we asked for the desert menu again only to be told that there wasn't enough time for desert as there was another booking in 15-20 min. It's not the customers job to manage the time. If the dinner is taking longer than expected we should have been approached by service to inform us and ask if we want desert before it's too late. Very disappointed given how good the food was. And a loss to the them given we all would have ordered a desert and a cocktail each to finish what was a beautiful meal.

                                  The experience in Tomahawk was ok, however there is many other steakhouses that would deliver better quality of food. We ordered a tomahawk steak, and while i like a bit of burnt on my steak - it was definitely a way too burnt. But more than the steak i was surprised of the poor quality of the sides. We ordered heritage carrots - which looked and tasted like they had been cooked day before and microwaved before they were brought to the table. Sweet potatoes didnt not have any crisp and were just 5-6 hug chunks. For the prices, i would have expected a significantly better quality of food.

                                  Very disappointing experience. This place had high marks on the web so I expected better, but the steak was very poorly executed. Good service, decent atmosphere, bad steak.

                                  Best steak in dublin. Get the Tomohawk to share. Ideally with a smaller person (more for you!) lovely staff lovely food lovely atmosphere.

                                  Very disappointed with our experience in Tomahawk last night. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and I had made a note of this on the reservation, hoping for a birthday candle during dessert. I also phoned the restaurant on the day to remind them of the occasion. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and genuinely impressed with the quality of the fillet steaks. However, when we ordered the cheese cake for dessert, two things happened. 1. No sign of any birthday candle or reference to the occasion 2 The cheesecake was vile. When we were paying, I mentioned the lack of birthday candle and I was told there must’ve been a mess up between staff handover. Then I mentioned the cheesecake and was told by the waiter that the restaurant was intending on taking it off the menu as it was not a good seller. No mention of any discount or token gesture…….so definitely no tip !
