Step out of the bustling cobblestone streets of Temple Bar and down the stairs to Tomahawk Steakhouse where beautiful windows allow in light from street level. This is an intimate and unique dining setting – and our steaks are the star of the show.

We have spent months researching where to source the best steaks from around the world and the results of that exploration is there is no better beef than Irish and we are proud to say that we serve only the market-best at Tomahawk.

Tomahawk has 80 delightful seats for you and your party to choose from. We have comfy corners matched with matte timber tables adorned with leather seats, where diners can enjoy their delicious meals under the ambient street lighting that pours in from above. Or you can choose to perch comfortably along the gorgeous timber dining bar set around our open kitchen and watch the theatre of a professional kitchen at work in front of you.

                                                                        It took 50 minutes for our steaks to arrive, only three other tables were served during this time. We didn’t eat the onion stack, finely shredded onion in batter, grease! Blue cheese sauce was just mayonnaise. Whiskey peppercorn sauce was poor. Ribeye steak was very good, the 12 oz fillet was odd, juicy on first bite but then dry in mouth. Loads of good steak houses in Dublin - so won’t be back.

                                                                        Never been to Tomahawk before so said we would try it out over the Christmas. Impeccable customer service, will go through the different cuts of steak in great detail and will assist in what is best to get it cooked To start we split the short rib croquettes ,I had the Delmonico Steak, medium, with the fried onion stack (onion strings) and the pan fried corn beef mash with caramelised onion, and Jameson whiskey pepper corn sauce. My partner had the fillet steak with chips and beef Jus! The steak, so tender a succulent, the onion strings and mash complimented the steak well and washed down with 2 pints of Guinness….to add was flowing steady and tasted great! Had the stick toffee pudding for desert we shared that, and it was luxurious….the waitress will pour all the sauce over it! It was decadent….couldn’t recommend this place enough

                                                                        Had a great time at Tomahawk for a Christmas get together. The food was fabulous. I had high expectations as I’d had a fantastic experience before but wasn’t sure how it would be being part of the Christmas rush. It did not disappoint. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Look forward to another steak experience in Tomahawk soon. Thank you

                                                                        Nice looking restaurant however on this occasion the service was not very good. I ordered a steak witch was not great however the opportunity to relay this back wasn’t afforded to our table as there wasn’t a table check from a server after the food arrived leaving the choice of approaching someone and making a seen or simply just putting up with the meal. ( The latter I chose ) Even once the table was cleared no one asked how anything was. On a side note the toilets could use a good clean!

                                                                        I had dinner with my fiance on Friday 13th December at 17:45. The food was amazing - I want to especially mention our server (I cannot recall his name). He was bald with a beard, possibly Italian. He was great, really friendly, funny , explained the cuts really well and just a really nice guy. Was a pleasure chatting to him.
