    Very busy night and staff did their best. Orders taken after us came out before ours. Busy stream of takeaway orders - lots of people crushed into a small space making it a bit noisy. Credit to the staff managing it all but the constant stream of people and long wait time for food did not make it a pleasant dine in experience.

    Overall the food was good and good value. the supersalad is particularly tasty. Fish is very fresh. The atmosphere is warm and homely. The place is unpretentious and easy parking

    The food and service was again excellent. The consistency of the food from visit ot visit is brilliant and it is fresh and well prepared. The service is also excellent and very prompt.

    Unfortunately my experience wasn’t great this time after previous great visits. I ordered a special of whole flounder. It arrived and was slightly undercooked . I made the waitress aware who returned in seconds to tell me that the chef said it was cooked. As the diner eating the meal, I should know if it was undercooked. When asked at the end how the meal was, I reexplained the experience, whilst I was offered another meal( too late) , the issue was largely undealt with.

    Everything was good except like most restaurants they use vegetable oil. It’s a cheap oil that is detrimental to health. Most restaurants use this . I cannot eat vegetable oil as it causes inflammation .. It’s only a matter of time that vegetable oil goes the same way as msg. I’m looking for restaurants that only use olive oil. That’s my only criticism of all restaurants. Even lard would be better than vegetable oil. In all aspects this restaurant was great

    Lovely set up , good service . Probably ordered the wrong meal - the Malaysian curry wasn’t Malaysian - and I am a Malaysian :) Gravy was too rich and creamy . Efficient and hearty meal - will be back someday to try the fish and chips ! Thanks

    Looks like a basic fish and chip restaurant but the quality and range of the food was a total surprise. A stunning fisherman's stew with some chilli added upon request. Very very good.
