We serve eclectic Japanese-American cuisine and serious wine in a former adult video store. Since opening, Tomo has received recognition as one of the country's best new restaurants by Esquire and Robb Report and has been nominated for Outstanding Wine Program by the James Beard Foundation.

Chef Brady Ishiwata Williams’ menus are personal, and feature outstanding ingredients prepared simply and with confidence.

Our wine program highlights rare and ephemeral wines made by creative, principled people. We also serve a variety of classic and seasonal cocktails, emphasizing small-batch spirits and quality nonalcoholic options.

We strive to be a cherished part of our guests' lives, providing a warm atmosphere, ever-changing menus, and exclusive events with top chefs and industry experts from around the world.

    Get ready to celebrate the holidays with the 3rd iteration of our Bone-In series! This December, we’re transforming into a festive chophouse. Guests can look forward to a wide variety of dishes, daily specials, a satisfying a la carte bar menu, a wintery mix of wine from game-changing winemakers, & martinis, martinis, martinis! Fear not - our “gilded” baked potato cart will be back! You’ll enjoy a meal consisting of four courses, with each guest selecting from a variety of options. Add-ons are available for those looking to indulge further. Go big with a feast centered around a main course like Klingeman Farm NY Striploin, King’s Cut Prime Rib, or Seared Hokkaido Scallops. The bar top is reserved for walk-ins.

    Such a lovely first experience at Tomo. The food is really the star. Every dish was unique, well presented, imaginative & delicious! The wine list is creative, but too esoteric for most of my group. The cocktails are some of the best in Seattle. The outdoor deck is pretty comfortable, but the music is very loud & the heaters get quite hot. Our service was great: knowledgeable, prompt & kind. There is a 22% autograt, which definitely makes an expensive experience even more so. I definitely recommend Tomo for an occasion dinner & plan to return soon.

    amazing staff, amazing food, great wine and cocktails and some of my favorite songs played while i was there. went for the first time for a special occasion and was super impressed. love this place!!

    I don’t typically write negative reviews but for a $400 night out (including 22% auto grat) we were honestly very disappointed with our experience. We got the set menu for two with all the add ons. Food was good but nothing stood out as excellent. It took way too long between courses to the point that we were losing our hunger by the time the next dish came out. At times we sat for 10min or more with nothing in front of us. The table was never wiped clean between courses and when utensils were taken with plates they were not always replaced. The courses seemed disjointed and not to flow well, with very strong flavors preceding very delicate flavors. The espresso martini ($20) was excellent and the beef was cooked to perfection. Definitely possible that we just had an off night, but I certainly can’t recommend Tomo based on our experience.

    22% service charge feels steep. We had the tasting menu and felt like the food was mid. Presentation and ambiance was nice.
