We serve eclectic Japanese-American cuisine and serious wine in a former adult video store. Since opening, Tomo has received recognition as one of the country's best new restaurants by Esquire and Robb Report and has been nominated for Outstanding Wine Program by the James Beard Foundation.

Chef Brady Ishiwata Williams’ menus are personal, and feature outstanding ingredients prepared simply and with confidence.

Our wine program highlights rare and ephemeral wines made by creative, principled people. We also serve a variety of classic and seasonal cocktails, emphasizing small-batch spirits and quality nonalcoholic options.

We strive to be a cherished part of our guests' lives, providing a warm atmosphere, ever-changing menus, and exclusive events with top chefs and industry experts from around the world.

    Get ready to celebrate the holidays with the 3rd iteration of our Bone-In series! This December, we’re transforming into a festive chophouse. Guests can look forward to a wide variety of dishes, daily specials, a satisfying a la carte bar menu, a wintery mix of wine from game-changing winemakers, & martinis, martinis, martinis! Fear not - our “gilded” baked potato cart will be back! You’ll enjoy a meal consisting of four courses, with each guest selecting from a variety of options. Add-ons are available for those looking to indulge further. Go big with a feast centered around a main course like Klingeman Farm NY Striploin, King’s Cut Prime Rib, or Seared Hokkaido Scallops. The bar top is reserved for walk-ins.

    We enjoyed a great dinner at Tomo. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered all three starters plus bread and then four of us shared one ribeye and one tuna entree and had leftover steak to take home. One shaved ice was enough for four to share and was a fun ending.

    Amazing food and solid service. I loved the party music playlist though some diners may find it too much. My only complaint is that the chairs (as opposed to the bench seating) were small and uncomfortably hard, especially when the meal is meant to be enjoyed at a slower pace. Sitting for two hours on those small, hard chairs is not pleasant.

    The thanksgiving feast was absolutely amazing. Fed my party of 7 people with plenty of leftovers. Each dish was so special. The fried rice and the cheesy hashbrowns were my personal fave. Would definitely order again.

    The food was good but the cadence and harmony of the dishes was a bit fracture when you don’t do the fix menu. Our waiter wasn’t great. He seemed confused and not very engaged for a restaurant at this price point. I haven’t tried their fix menu but it’s probably what you should do to get the intended experience.

    Such a lovely first experience at Tomo. The food is really the star. Every dish was unique, well presented, imaginative & delicious! The wine list is creative, but too esoteric for most of my group. The cocktails are some of the best in Seattle. The outdoor deck is pretty comfortable, but the music is very loud & the heaters get quite hot. Our service was great: knowledgeable, prompt & kind. There is a 22% autograt, which definitely makes an expensive experience even more so. I definitely recommend Tomo for an occasion dinner & plan to return soon.
