We are a BYOB sushi and ramen restaurant located in Old City, Philadelphia, serving traditional style sushi and ramen with a newfangled twist. Tomo was funded out of passion by two lifelong tomodachi (friends in Japanese): Sushi Chef Andy and Ramen Chef Steven.

I could not have been happier with this restaurant. My daughter is vegetarian and it was her bday. Most sushi places will give the avocado roll or cucumber roll as veggie options. Toni had a whole section of specialty rolls for her to choose from. I ended up getting a veggie roll because they were so good. The sushi with seafood was also so fresh and good. This was her best bday dinner in Philly with veggie options. Please keep that veggie menu. It’s awesome. We will be back.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

We had an amazing outdoor seating experience at Timo. We love the BYOB option and enjoyed all the creative sushi roll options. The presentation and flavor of our picks were incredible. Huge kudos to the host as he handled a drunken customer situation to perfection. He not only stayed calm, but he brought the customer outside and attempted to help him order for several minutes before offering him different dining options nearby. At the end when the drunken man (at 7 pm) walked away he cursed at the host. The host stayed professional and returned to work with no questions or retort to the drunk. I really hope the host is shown this review and congratulated on his skill and work ethic!請問這對你有幫助嗎？

We chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and it was absolutely perfect. We are vegetarians and the selection of delicious vegetarian rolls was exceptional. Not just the usual, but a wide variety of brilliantly executed specialty rolls. The platter they brought out was also visually stunning. The waitstaff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive.
