Tom's Steakhouse is a classic American restaurant that specializes in hearty cuts of perfectly cooked steak. The restaurant opened up in 1952, and has been in continuous service ever since. Tom's serves only USDA prime aged beef for all of their steaks which are cooked to perfection on a grill over an open flame.

The star of the show at Tom's are obviously the steaks. Here, diners can order all of the best cuts of meat including filet mignon, bone-in rib eye, prime rib, NY Strip , and T-bone. However, Tom's also does much more than just steaks. Diners will also find seafood, poultry and pork options as well. Some of the most ordered non-steak items include a Athenian Chicken, grilled lamb chops, fresh filet of Atlantic salmon and steamed Alaskan king crab legs.

I’ve been dining at Tom’s for the last 30 years and the new management is fantastic! We love how they’ve updated the dining room but the tables are pretty snug for seniors with walkers. The host couldn’t have been more helpful assisting with getting around tables and to our place. It was very crowded and we really appreciated the warm gestures, my parents are in their 90’s and Tom’s is one of their favorite spots-they’ve been dining there for a very long time!

This is not competing with any of the modern restaurants that I love - it has a separate space in my heart for nostalgic experiences. Delicious food (the salad is a bit icebergian) from the saganaki and bread to the tiramisu. My teen and my 5-year-old had a wonderful time and ate handsomely. It was DH’s b-day and the staff greeted him by name, made sure his birthday was special and checked in on us multiple times. The management connected with my kiddo too, bonding over monster trucks. Old school food and service.

The Value is what made me book. here’s a few pointers about the food. They ran out of prime Rib. My Husband & I had the King filet Mignon & Ribeye steak. No seasoning at all the Ribeye was overcooked and dry. The salads were Iceberg straight from the Bag, so they were brown. The potatoes were overcooked supper hard on the outside so the inside was limited spuds. The bread was put in a basket with crackers which I feel they use over and over again cross contamination. The waiters are older and stuck in their ways & kind of rude. This restaurant was giver high reviews from other guests. I didn’t see the same results. They need to work with management and fix this menu. If your going to include a dinning experience make it worth peoples time & money. Most steak restaurants are Ala Cart but at least I know the food will be good. I won’t book here again. Over rated I feel the people who dine here, & gave them 4plus stars,haven’t been to a real steakhouse.

Everything we had was delicious. We had such great service. It's one of our favorite places to go for a nice quiet romantic dinner. We always make sure to reserve a bar table because It's dark and like an old-fashioned candlelight dinner.
