Tonto Bar & Grill: A Taste of Native Arizona
Please Note: If your desired time is not available, please phone 480-488-0698 as table availability changes often due to cancellations or inclement weather. Online reservations from 11 - 4 are unavailable for parties of less than 6. Walk Ins accepted.
Enjoy American Southwestern cuisine featuring salads, sandwiches, pasta, fresh seafood, mesquite-grilled steaks, and house-made desserts. One menu is served all day. Tonto Bar & Grill, gives diners a view of modern desert life with a peek into the past. The restaurant sits on what was once Native American land and later used as a stopover camp for the U.S. Cavalry, and the building itself was part of the prestigious Rancho Mañana dude ranch. It’s chock-full of the charm of earlier eras, displaying ranching implements, vintage 1940s photos and original architecture. We had a large luncheon for 16. They were very accommodating , allowed separate checks. The food as always was great and the wait staff was terrific especially since our group was so large.

We were visiting AZ & Tonto was recommended to us. So glad we went, everything was perfect! From our seat outside by the fire, service was excellent, and the food was so delicious! We will return on our next trip there.

We've been going to Tonto Grill for years and always enjoy it. We appreciate that the noise level is low enough so that we can talk with our friends. Many restaurants these days are uncomfortably loud.

So much food, I’ll have another meal from the leftovers! Tried the corn chowder. It was quite tasty, but not hot enough, only lukewarm. Sanddabs were yummy! My first time having this fish and it was so light & tasty. I will definitely order it again. Chai Cheesecake? Who would have thought? It was very warm spiced & great for a fall night.

The food was incredible. Bobby Ray was our server, and he took excellent care of us. My second visit and my husband's first. We both couldn't stop raving about the food.
