Tony's at the J House menu offers something for everyone-- homemade pasta, fresh fish, Prime dry aged steaks from Allen Brothers and sushi from Miku of Greenwich. Our Menu offers a wonderful twist to traditional Italian dishes. Vibrant salads, seasonal roasted vegetables and a revolving cheese selection round out his innovative menu. We loved eating out at Tony's and Tony himself who was very gracious and welcoming. The dining room was beautiful, and the food was good. The only complaint our group had was that that the special that two of us had was $80.00!! Other entrees on the menu were priced at $35 to $45 so we were quite surprised when we got the bill. I guess you could say it was up to us to ask but I have been to many other restaurants where they tell you the price of the specials. So just remember to ask and you'll be fine.

I was disappointed with the food, it was not even mediocre. We were a party of 6 and ordered 4 surf & turf and 2 Chilean sea bass. The sea bass was salty and we only received a small piece over a full plate of potatoes au gratin, with no vegetables. I had the surf and turf. It was a bad cut of meat and it was not flavorful. All 4 of us ate the lobster tail, spinach and potatoes and took the steak home to ‘doctor’ it up. The desserts were not any better. The crème brûlée was runny and the cheesecake was like a custard. The food used to be so good at Tony’s. I don’t know what happened? Did they get a new chef? I was so disappointed.
