   The pasta was fantastic!! The meat was kind of fatty though. Definitely worth a try and the service was great.

   Wonderful service!! A true aim to please establishment. Even my picky teens loved the food! We ate so many dishes and every one was yummy. Only thing I’d change is the portion size for the spaghetti bolognese. For a 15 year old boy it felt like a kid portion but we ordered a main dish over $20. I would still highly recommend!!

   We have been dining at Tortino's for years and always been delighted. The food and service are both outstanding. To say that it is a neighborhood gem is an understatement!

   Tortino was recommended on a DC Reddit group for hidden Italian gems. We were seated in the back room surrounded by 2 large, separate parties. Each group had about 12-15 people so it was extremely hard for our party of 3 to hold a conversation. The food itself was good; however, I wish the olive oil for the bread had some herbs and spices. The first loaf is complimentary, but any additional bread is $2. The menu itself must change because it didn’t have any of the things on it that I had found on the yelp reviews, which drew me into the restaurant in the first place. Everyone in our party ended up with the crab ravioli—which was good—but the sauce was almost too light and broth. It could have used more flavor. All in all I’d rate my visit a 3/5.

   Lovely service, flavorful food, and intimate ambiance. We were celebrating our engagement with a few close friends and it was the perfect place for the occasion, and our server helped us make the most of it will all the best recommendations. Will hopefully be going again soon!

    We love Tortino! The food is always delicious and the service is very attentive. It’s a great place for a quiet dinner with friends. The chef owner brings a great deal of experience from time spent in famous Italian restaurants in the US and in Italy. The menu includes inventive appetizers, tasty pastas, exceptional entrees and a good selection of desserts. We’ve only had exceptional meals at Tortino.
