Bringing a touch of French flair to Kennington, Toulouse Lautrec Restaurant, Piano Bar & Jazz Club is a traditional restaurant set inside a lovingly refurbished English pub. Managed by three brothers, jazz club manager, Nolan & Chef Florent, whose parents have run the neighbouring “Lobster Pot” restaurant since 1991, so there is plenty of authentic French charm on offer served by people who love what they do. Set over three floors, the warm and inviting space is divided into a rustic ground floor restaurant, 1st floor piano bar with jazz solos & duos and 2nd floor Jazz Club, which hosts the bigger bands at weekends.

    Free parking after 7pm on a single red line or parking bays. Do not park on double red lines or private car park at the back. Metered parking found on Renfrew Road and Penton Place

    We are located between Elephant and Castle and Kennington tube stations. We are easier to get to from Kennington. When you exit the station, turn right and cross the main road, we are 5 minute walk at the traffic lights. Buses stopping outside are 155, 133, 333, 415, 196. Use bus stop 'Newington Butts'.

    We have live music every day, please check out the listing online at http://www.toulouselautrec.co.uk/book-tickets If you would like tickets for the music please purchase your tickets online in order to guarantee entry to the jazz club. There is no reserved seating in the jazz club and it is first come first serve. Please allow up to 2 hours to dine before the music.

    Ideal for pre theatre dinner if going to Southwark Playhouse. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Only drawback was that washrooms were upstairs.

    We went before a play at the theatre round the corner . I had the pork collar - very tasty comfort food with mash and jus ! My partner had the duck - quite nice but not quite as nice as the pork ! Good drinks selection. Warm , friendly helpful waiter . Popped upstairs to the toilet and to see the top room where they have jazz etc which looks lovely .

    Went on a quiet bank holiday afternoon and loved this place. The food was excellent with delicious classic French dishes and we were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely go back to sample the piano bar and jazz club one evening

    My mother took us (myself, my husband, and a close friend , to TL as a surprise and we had a truly lovely time. This cozy French restaurant has great service and good food. The live piano music we could hear coming from the jazz bar upstairs added to the ambience. The private dining room we were in was intimate and comfortable and didn't feel too cut off from the rest of the place. The service was attentive but subtle, so none of that " is everything ok " every 5 minutes. Classic Parisian Bistro dishes, well cooked, so no complaints. They also served a perfect rare steak - which was good, as some/many places chicken out of serving anything even slightly pink, so Bravo there. All in all a lovely place to eat with friends and family.
