Harking back to its supper club origins, the Town+House by Always Sunday brings people together in a curated setting to share conversation over delicious home-cooked food.

Whether you’re popping in for a pint or staying for a while, Town+House is designed to feel familiar and inviting, like a home away from home. With a friendly team and a Sunday menu of feel-good comfort food (like our award-winning Sunday roasts), local beer on tap, and an array of classic cocktails with a creative twist, we are your new favourite pub in Bath.

Step inside this historic building and you will be greeted by our welcoming staff at the open bar that encompasses the centre of the downstairs area, ideal for casual dining or a drink with friends. Head upstairs to explore two dining rooms amid a collection of hand-picked art, ideal for functions like office Christmas parties and intimate weddings as well as private dining.

                              Firstly no starters available and surprisingly there was no roast lamb on Easter Sunday. Cauliflower cheese was dried out and had obviously been under the light for a while . Some plates had broccoli and some didn't. Dessert was half the size of the next table .Staff loudly talking about how tired they were and after shift sat rolling cigarettes at the end of the bar.

                              We had a fab meal. Staff were very attentive. At some point the service got a bit slow but it was made up but such amazing food. We will be back!! Thank you

                              Always a lovely time in town and house! For the rugby it was quite relaxed this time and food (burgers) were good too.

                              Absolutely delicious food in a very cute little townhouse just outside the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions in Bath. The Sunday Roast was absolutely delicious and everything one could hope for! I highly recommend eating here if you're in Bath.

                              Very simple menu well executed - 5 types of burgers with delicious chips. But don't go if you need more variety. The cocktails were delicious. The staff were fab. They ran out of ice behind the bar and the barman had to run off and get some more but it was handled very well. It was a shame that the lighting was just bright downlights as there was a floor lamp and wall lights in the space but they weren't on so it lacked atmosphere and there were only three tables eating despite it being a Saturday night so it didn;t make you feel that you wanted to handg out there all evening. There was a jazz band downstairs which was a nice touch.

                              A great evening in a lively local pub. Live funky music, a vibrant clientele and food I’ll be returning for. The beer and burgers we tasted were great, quality ingredients, lovely flavours and super service.

                              If you want a burger this is the place for you. Very disappointing that they have cut their original menu to just Burgers. Place to go for a pint and a burger but book as the place is rather small and limited on space.

                              Enjoyed our visit to this pub . The food was excellent as was the beer too. We were made very welcome by the friendly staff and the atmosphere was perfect.

                              Really good reception from the staff. Taken straight up to restaurant upstairs. The service was great. Our waiterCosmo was fantastic. Engaging and friendly and gave off a great energy throughout service. Really added something to our visit. We had the pork on a Sunday. Which was really nice. Gravy was fantastic and you could see that the people behind it really cared and the put the effort in. Would definitely visit again.

                              Superb in every sense! 5 of us where proficiently guided through the exciting menu and we were not disappointed. From start to finish we shared in the region of 14 plates and finished with a fantastic burnt orange tart and home made sloe gin. From the great cookery of the monkfish dish and the pollack, fennel, orange and walnuts etc, etc the food was faultless. Great flavours pairings provide an exciting challenge which rewards in spades. Good wine recommendations too! Only downside for u is the 320 mile roundtrip before we could return.
