A truly authentic Italian experience awaits... Located in world famous Cabo San Lucas, Chef Eduardo Benitez provides a culinary journey through Italy. An extensive interactive wine list (Italian only) curated by our Wine Specialist, provides for the perfect food pairing along with a large selection of traditional Italian cocktails and unique crafted cocktails by our in-house mixologist.

We have a 10 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 10 minutes after your reservation time. We may contact you about this reservation, so please ensure your email and phone number are up to date.

An exceptional restaurant! The owner is Italian and it shows in the authenticity of the food. We went there for Valentine’s Day dinner. The ambiance was beautiful—soft lighting and live music by an excellent guitarist/singer who kept the volume at a perfect level to allow intimate dining and conversation. The pace was never rushed, so we lingered over each course and just soaked up the vibe. The service was impeccable. The staff were very polite and attentive. As for the food, it was simply amazing. We shared a superb Caesar salad and each had the carbonara, which was authentic and delicious. My wife had the chocolate lava cake and said it was fantastic, and I had the panna cotta, which was among the best I’ve ever tasted. Their martinis were generous too! We should have had wine, but wine prices are often very steep everywhere in Mexico (except Costco) compared with Canadian restaurant prices, so we went a little off-track with our drink selections. 😊 If you’re looking for a fabulous Italian meal in Cabo San Lucas, this is it. I doubt you’d ever find anything better than this if you’re looking for authentic Italian. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of parking, and it’s easy to find. We will be back for sure on our next trip here. Don’t miss it if you can possibly help it!! ❤️ Jeremy and Sheri Etherington

Absolutely delicious! The service was top notch and every dish was wonderfully prepared. The mushroom risotto continues to be a favorite. The pasta special was delicious. My husband ordered the short ribs and finished every last bite. We hadn’t been back in a year because of a precious service experience. Gave it a shot because of a visitor who dined with us two years ago wanted to go back. So glad we did. It was a great experience!

We’ve been coming to Trattoria Da Pietro for a while, and the food has always been fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and consistently well-prepared. It’s one of our go-to spots, and we’ve had some really great experiences here. However, the service can be hit or miss depending on your server. Angel, in particular, has always been outstanding—attentive, proactive, and genuinely great at making sure guests are taken care of. Unfortunately, on our last visit, we had a different server, and the experience wasn’t the same. Service was noticeably slow, and we often had to flag someone down for basic things like refills or ordering. This wasn’t the first time we’ve had this kind of experience, so it seems to be a pattern with certain staff members. To Angel’s credit, he actually noticed that we weren’t being attended to and stepped in to help, which we really appreciated. It’s clear that good service is possible here, but consistency is an issue. Overall, we’ll still be back because the food at Trattoria Da Pietro is worth it, but I hope management takes steps to ensure that all servers provide the same level of attentiveness. A great meal deserves great service to match!

This was our first time in Cabo. My brother and Sister In Law suggested all of us go here for dinner. The restaurant was quiet and tastefully arranged with guitarist singing soft great music. The cream of spinach soup was amazing, followed up with fillet mignon with gargonzola cream sauce accompanied with asparagus and seasoned potatoes. The main course was simply one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. The restaurant is not in the tourist area of Cabo but well worth the trip. We ate at another top end Italian restaurant downtown that wasn't even in the same class as Trattoria Da Pietro. If you want to be spoiled with a great dinner and treated by a very attentive staff, this is the place to go.

A friend recommended the restaurant that we had never been to. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing. We actually booked to go again. Thank you for a wonderful experience

I continue to travel all over and lived in Rome for a semester in college. Pietro's food is top of a long list of excellent Italian restaurants. This is always one of my first stops when I'm back in Cabo. It never disappoints and often surprises with new wonderful flavors.

Es vergonzoso que recomendéis este restaurante. Comida en mal estado, un cantante a todo volumen, camareros maleducados y nada auténticamente italiano, la burrata no es burrata, la carbonara no lo es, y así todo. No volvemos
