Trattoria Emilia is an authentic Italian restaurant focusing on seasonal produce and fresh pasta. Head chefs Francesco Rota and Luca Flammia hail from Modena in Emilia Romagna.

At Trattoria Emilia we seasonally change the menu and source a large majority of our produce from regional Victoria, our meat is organic and sustainably grown in Tasmania and Victoria and we import some of the best Italian DOC products. Some dishes that are not to be missed are our Tortelloni Emiliani and the crowd favourite salumi misti with gnocco fritto and tigelle served with mortadella mousse.

Rustic, yet refined, Trattoria Emilia boasts fantastic ambience, attentive and professional service whilst all the while remaining a great casual dining spot perfect for a quick lunch, a long relaxing dinner with friends and has always been a romantic date spot.

    As part of this experience, enjoy a 3-course menu with your choice of an entrée, a main, and a dessert/cheese from our a la carte menu. Dinner reservations will be allocated a 2-hour seating time. I you are wanting a quick meal of one or two courses, the à la carte menu is only available for lunch or early dinner reservations (starting from 5:00 - 5:30 pm with a 1.5-hour sitting time). Please contact the restaurant directly for enquiries regarding this option.

    A truly authentic experience at Trattoria Emilia. The food choices from the 3 course option were fantastic. Definitely great value for money and no skimping on quality ingredients or serving sides. I cannot fault the food nor the bubbly staff who know and love their food.

    We had a beautiful dinner here, the Chef’s menu is reasonably priced, good wine list and service was lovely. Recommend you give this little gem a try you won’t be disappointed.

    I haven't been for lunch here in an age. The feel of the room is fittingly spacious for day dining and delightfully so, in comparison to the nurturing enclose of the evening sittings. Food and service impeccable as alway.s

    We had the degustation menu. The food was excellent, the staff were just the right amount of attentive and very pleasant, wine a little pricey. We left full. We will definitely be back.
