Trattoria Emilia is an authentic Italian restaurant focusing on seasonal produce and fresh pasta. Head chefs Francesco Rota and Luca Flammia hail from Modena in Emilia Romagna.

At Trattoria Emilia we seasonally change the menu and source a large majority of our produce from regional Victoria, our meat is organic and sustainably grown in Tasmania and Victoria and we import some of the best Italian DOC products. Some dishes that are not to be missed are our Tortelloni Emiliani and the crowd favourite salumi misti with gnocco fritto and tigelle served with mortadella mousse.

Rustic, yet refined, Trattoria Emilia boasts fantastic ambience, attentive and professional service whilst all the while remaining a great casual dining spot perfect for a quick lunch, a long relaxing dinner with friends and has always been a romantic date spot.

    As part of this experience, enjoy a 3-course menu with your choice of an entrée, a main, and a dessert/cheese from our a la carte menu. Dinner reservations will be allocated a 2-hour seating time. I you are wanting a quick meal of one or two courses, the à la carte menu is only available for lunch or early dinner reservations (starting from 5:00 - 5:30 pm with a 1.5-hour sitting time). Please contact the restaurant directly for enquiries regarding this option.

    Every time I visit Melbourne,Trattoria Emilia never disappoints! From the moment you walk in you are welcomed warmly and the service is always fantastic! The food is delicious and our group of 6 had a wonderful evening. Grazie!

    The experience was like being in Italy, the soft hum of a busy room curated by staff that seemed to appear whenever needed, always happy to help with selections and advice.     I feel that this is the most authentic Italian food in Melbourne. I only go there occasionally because I’m a dinosaur. I would eat there once a week if I could. Its brilliant.

    Wonderful experience! Great food and service, the whole team did an amazing job. We had the 5 course degustation menu and the value/price for the quality of the food is actually one of the best on the market. Thanks guys, keep it up!
