Trazo 1810 is a casual dining restaurant located in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. The restaurant overlooks the Parish of San Miguel de Arcangel, one of the most beautiful Parish in Mexico, and sits at the roof top of a historic colonial building Hotel Boutique Casa 1810. Trazo 1810 one of the 120 best restaurants in Mexico, for its creative cuisine, it has been included in the Guide to Gastronomic Mexico the 120 restaurants 2020 & 2021. The restaurant during that time it has evolved considerably, both in food and in experience. Today Trazo 1810 is characterized by its attention to detail and the diner’s experience. Social commitment to the local trade in organic products, since ❝almost all of the ingredients that we use in Trazo’s cuisine are from local producers, ranches near San Miguel de Allende and organic street markets that we constantly attend.❞

Lo que no me pareció correcto es que al llegar no se verificó mi reservación, la persona que nos atendió no le interesó que le dijera que tenía reservación y por ello no me pidió el nombre sólo mis llevó a ocupar una mesa, obvio tampoco le interesó si íbamos a celebrar algo

Wednesday night 7PM. Hardly any other diners present. Sat out party of five at roof top table with beautiful views. Food arrived all at once with ordered appetizers and main dish intermixed. One appetizer we ordered was missing as well as one main dish. They made the correction and my main dish did finally arrive. I could understand if the restaurant was crowded, but it wasn’t. The guide books claim Trazo is one of the best restaurants in San Miguel. From my experience it isn’t.

This was our first time eating here. The rooftop terrace is absolutely beautiful. The food is excellent. The service is outstanding. My husband and I shared the beet salad and the Osso Bucco. For dessert we shared the Pavlova. We had an excellent bottle of wine recommended by the waiter.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant. Very attentive service good food. One minor glitch, 3 of 4 meals arrived together. 4th meal came at least 10 minutes after the others. I'm not sure what the issue was. We did get 1 complimentary dessert to share (but no explanation as to why)

The roof top location with views is beautiful. The 1810 cocktail is very fun (I won’t say why, but try it). The humus appetizer was exceptional, as was the beet salad. But one main course of chicken was very dry. The day’s fish main course of sea bass was cooked perfectly, but it was served on top of an odd green pea mash that was too heavy for the fish. The chocolate dessert was satisfying.

What could have been a wonderful dining experience, turned into an aggravating evening. The views are fantastic, the food was very good, but all of this was ruined by incredibly loud music which they refused to turn down. There were speakers throughout the rooftop restaurant so there was no escaping the noise. It’s impossible to have an intimate conversation with anyone . I will NEVER go there again! We were told we could go downstairs and dine- but we wanted to enjoy the beautiful view. Who ever came up with the idea that music should be blasting in a fine restaurant is a complete moron. I will continue to advise my friends in San Miguel to avoid this place at all costs. What a shame they just don’t get it !

Trazo 1810 was pretty good. Obviously, the view is great however they sat us in a corner table directly under a speaker, and we’re playing random. Loud music ended up having to put jackets over the top of the speaker so that we could think & hear. Not sure what people were thinking when they put speakers nearly at head level behind corner tables. The food was pretty good, and the drinks were decent. Can’t really remember what we ordered, but overall it was a solid experience and a solid restaurant.

Fue un gran placer ser atendidos por Vicente. Es conocido desde nuestra visita en 2023 en otro restaurante. Sugerencia , por los precios deberían de usar servilleta en la canasta del pan. Las yerbas del mojito estaban marchitas y alguna hoja que otra de mi ensalada. Aparte de esto, la comida es muy buena, los postres son para morir. Buena experiencia, lo recomendamos .
