   The fried green tomatoes were terrific. Otherwise, the food was just passable. The service was slow. It looks like a cafeteria.

   Exceptional Food, Saved by an Exceptional Chef We dined at Trenasse for dinner, and while the experience had a few rough edges, the chef’s intervention truly saved the night. The dining room was overly air-conditioned, which made it hard to relax, and our server, while kind, had limited English skills that made communication a bit tricky. But before we even placed our order, the chef came out to answer some questions my husband—who’s a grill master himself—had about the steak. That moment changed everything. The chef was gracious, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his craft. A good man, and very good at what he does. Thanks to him, we ordered with confidence—and the food was phenomenal. Special shout out to the oyster log: creative, rich, and absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Despite the less-than-perfect atmosphere, the quality coming out of that kitchen—and the chef’s personal touch—made this a dinner to remember.

   Lovely dining experience. The duck and stew were both amazing - highly recommend adding the seared scallops. They really elevated the duck dish - my son also raved about the leftovers. The desserts and drinks were also great!! Every single part of our meal was fantastic. We highly recommend!!

   there were six of us we came in for brunch the food was great they have bottomless mimosas and were friendly with the pour. The steak and egg special was cooked perfect.

   The crawfish pie and chowder special were great, but the chargrilled oysters were not. The service was good, but the ambience left a lot to be desired. It was fine, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to go to again.

   Over this was a wonderful date night experience I would give it a 9/10 because the food was a little bland but overall service was great and well enjoyed.

   Food was great! Minimal wait times, even on Mardi Gras Day. Great selection of oysters. They were running low on the specials and menu items.

   Love the oysters here, both raw and chargrilled (of which they have like 8 choices), also highly recommend the Brie pepper jelly burger, the crawfish pie, garlic bread and boudin balls. Great for larger groups.

    Dinner was tasty overall. I had a combo that included gumbo, mac and cheese and rice with beans. I will admit that the beans were quite creamy and tasty. Good meal overall
