The CREW 🖤 and I visited Trick Rider on February 15 for our Valentine’s Day celebration. There were five of us, and we all loved the atmosphere, the drinks, and the food. By the end of the night, we were already talking about when we’d be back.
For entrées, we had a variety of options, including ribeye, filet, and oven-roasted chicken. Our sides—mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and broccolini—were all flavorful. The only critique from the group was that some dishes were a bit too salty.
As for drinks, I had the “Lucky Guess”—a mix of tequila, lemon, and raspberry—and it was delicious. One of my friends ordered the “Spice of Life” but ended up returning it. It’s made with tequila, mezcal, pineapple juice, lemon, and jalapeño. I think the smoky taste from the mezcal just wasn’t their thing—personal preference.
It’s definitely on the pricey side, but we knew that going in. For me, it’s a special occasion spot, maybe once a year, but some of the crew are already planning their next visit within the month!
Overall, it was a win—everyone left smiling!
